Pep Boys

I came in for an oil change and was told I needed to replace my rear shocks due to leaking, without an explanation of what the service entailed. The employee was very pushy and when I declined service, he called the parts department to cancel the order before he gave me my keys to leave (I never approved the order of parts or agreed to the service to begin with). After I went for a second opinion at a mechanic I trust, they explained that rear shocks leaking is normal wear and tear at my mileage, and doesn’t necessarily mean they need to be replaced at the mileage I am at, but agreed to inspect my vehicle. After they took a look, they told me that my rear shocks were NOT leaking and were in great condition. This place is shady and seem to prey on women servicing their vehicle alone.

These guys at the Ventura Shop are wonderful. I have always gone to them for my tires, oil, and everything else. This weekend they fixed my car super quick on a Sunday and at no cost! I highly recommend them for any of your car needs.

This is my favorite Pep Boys in all of Southern California. The staff are always great and provide excellent customer service. Fully recommend. Keep up the great work guys!

Long story short these guys went above and beyond for me. They were swamped on New Years day and I was stuck in ventura with no options. They did everything they could to help me especially Julio and I am very grateful. These guys deserve some serious karma. Thank you Pep Boys!

Julio was so helpful. Expedited tires overnight and installed them right away. All staff (Edwin) were courteous and helpful. Great experience.
