It was my first time going to Pep Boys and it won’t be my last! The E. Tremont team in the Bronx was so knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I was so grateful for their advice and plan to keep them as my “go to” mechanics. Justin was particularly helpful and informative! The digital report with embedded videos was also educational. It helped me figure out my game plan.

I recently visited Pep Boys in the Bronx for a tire installation and tie rod replacement, and the experience was great. Zach had my tires ready when I arrived, and the technicians explained everything clearly, making the process smooth and stress-free. They worked quickly and efficiently without compromising quality, and Chris made sure my car was ready to go fast. Despite being busy, the team was friendly and professional. Overall, excellent service and customer care. I’ll definitely return and recommend them for reliable auto repairs.

Everyone was professional and knowledgeable. That was my first visit at Pepboys and I will be referring people to go there. I initially was going only for 4 brand new tires and the awesome mechanic Michael informed me of my brakes. Everyone was nice and kind. Mike at the front desk was excellent also. You have great employees. Thank you everyone for explaining everything and providing excellent service. Keep up the great work!

Don’t ever come to this location ever again. I came in for an oil change and tire rotation, and it took literally 5 hours! A local oil change and tire shop can get it done in 30 minutes or at least under an hour. They never offered any compensation for the 5 hours I waited. I seriously want my money back.

Curious what happened to the old part they take off the car I wanted mine great repairs and courtesy but to longer waiting only one of my issues was addressed after Seven hours I believe they will honor my request

The guy at the front named Anthony was such a big help.he was accommodating and nice despite being by himself. It is very unfortunate that he was left with no one at the front to assist which left us customers waiting longer than usual. You could tell it was a lot to handle for one in visual if not unfairly too much. Yet Anthony tried his best. I highly suggest this location have more workers to provide service so that a good employee like Anthony does not get discouraged by feeling unsupported. This is not my first time seeing this worker get stuck by himself. How is it possible that you would have one worker there for the evening to assist numerous customers? Bad business plan if you ask me. Anthony even assisted a last min person when he was closing. He could have not answered their question but he did going above and beyond. Anthony is the only thing saving this review!! He the best!

I had a great experience at Pep Boys! Everyone was friendly and informative. Anthony, who helped me, was especially helpful - he took time to clearly explain what needed to be done on my car and made sure I understood each step. I really appreciate the honesty and professionalism. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased tires and booked installation through Pep Boys. My appointment was scheduled for 12 PM, and I expected a relatively quick process for something as simple as a tire installation. Unfortunately, I didn’t leave until 5:30 PM. The wait time was extremely long and exhausting. While waiting, I noticed that many of the mechanics seemed unhappy, unprofessional, and not very courteous — no greetings, no updates, just a lot of standing around. It didn’t feel like a friendly or organized environment. However, I do want to give credit where it’s due: the mechanic who worked on my car did a very good job. He took his time, but he mounted, balanced, and torqued the tires perfectly. It’s clear he cared about doing the job right, and I’m grateful for that. Overall, the experience was a mix of frustration and relief. Great quality on the actual installation, but very poor customer service and extremely long wait times. If you have the time to spare and happen to get a good mechanic, you might have a decent experience — but if you’re expecting a quick and professional visit, be prepared for possible disappointment.

Very good service, it’s always busy but worth the wait. The first time it took 2 hours to get an oil change and this time was only 1 so I saw and improvement, customer service is excellent. Recommended!! Thank you

Zack, Patrick, and Anthony are very reliable workers! Helped me today, Easter Sunday for a last minute tire change. They got the tires ready very quickly and sorted out a small pricing mishap immediately. Tires were done pretty quickly too even with having previous workload before my arrival. Kudos to them for the diligence and hard work!
