2/9/25 | had my whole break system change, at this location. One month late my breaks are doing a nasty loud grinding and during stop times, like if my breaks pad had sand stuck. Made a appointment to have them check again. I explained my concerns. Later I get a call saying that my car rotor was damaged. The gentleman on the phone was claiming whoever installed my breaks did it wrong to the point where the rotor got damage, when you buy the breaks pep boys they give you a warranty, the gentleman was trying to charge $250 1 told the guy he was crazy breaks have warranty. They fix the issue but I won't ever recommend this place. Now I am driving with Warren down rotor because the mechanic who was supposed to be a certified did not live to his knowledge.Pep boys you have disappointed me and disrespect my vehicle. Why are we paying so much money, & people get away with this nonsense, if I wanted someone to screw me over I should just have taken my vehicle to the dealer. Learned a hard lesson.

I took my car into the Palmdale Pep Boys for a brake inspection after being very unhappy with the dealer. The dealer has told me I needed all my brakes and rotors replaced for an estimate of $1800-2000. Pep Boys recommended replacing the brake pads and resurfacing the front rotors and no work was necessary on the back brakes. They saved me $1600-1800 by being honest and professional. They also couldn’t have been nicer and friendlier. I also got free lifetime pad replacements and a / year warranty which the dealer didn’t offer. I highly recommend Pep Boys.

Needed to get a vehicle inspection for Lyft. I was greeted by Robert, who was ready to wait on me right away. He was fast and efficient and I was out and on my way within minutes. Customer service was great.

Last year after new set of tires was installed at a tires shop. I took the car to Pep Boys for wheels alignment. I paid for a three years service. It felt like driving a new car (The car is 10 years old). A year later, I took the car for the same service. They went through everything and did the alignment service in less than an hour. Everything looks great. I look forward to use their service again next year. 👍
