Pep Boys

The service team at the New Hyde Park Road Pep Boys are professional, courteous, honest, and customer- friendly. The service advisor spoke in a manner that communicated trustworthiness and care for the customer. I brought the car in without an appointment to have a tire puncture repaired. They did an excellent work for a very reasonable cost. This Pep Boys location was recommended to me by my friend, and I highly recommend this same team to others as well!

My first time visiting this pepboys was last year to get somethings worked on for my work vehicle and they didn't disappoint me this time when I brought my personal vehicle as well. I made an online appointment and was finished with all the work within about 3 hours. My car feels like new when driving. And the staff were courteous and professional. They told me what needed work but didn't push it on me and try to make me get more work done. I'll definitely be back to get to completenthe rest of the work they recommended to me.

I’m a regular oil change customer and found out from my BMW dealer I needed 2 control arms replaced. I stopped in and they were so helpful and professional. They inspected the thrust arms and said they could do it that day saving me $600 off the dealer price with BMW OE parts. I drove off 4 hours later very satisfied with the quality and professionalism of the staff.

I brought 2 cars to Pep boys for an oil change. Ford F150 oil was changed and after driving to Pennsylvania my oil light came on and after checking, I had to add 4 quarts of oil to the truck. After bringing the truck to the ford dealer I was told the oil plug was installed incorrectly and was lucky the engine wasn’t damaged. Also brought a Honda crv in for oil change and a week after oil change the car still has very strong oil smell inside it. I found the employees friendly and professional but will not return to pep boys for service. John Stewart Manor

They force me to change my rotary abd when I said no due to my budget they denied me service to change my break pads! I have kids and need my breaks, I was on a budget abd only made a appointments to change my break pads! They denied me service base on not willing to change my rotary aswell! Horrible manager, horrible staff to do this! I went to mavis and they did it for me! I will never be a customer with pep boys again, hiw could they do that to people! Everyone has a budget and reason, they were forcing me and denied me break pads which is very important to drive a car without breaks with kids! Horrible! Never would advise no one to go to that pepboys! Because if that they lost a loyal customers!
