HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND. I'm not at all satisfied. I'm very annoyed that I was contacted and told that work (the starter) had been completed BEFORE the shop was giving approval to go ahead and do the job by me first. Nor did they contact the warranty company to verify it was cover before doing the work. That is very unprofessional. Not something ive ever had happen at a shop before. I'm annoyed that I explained there was a banging in the front right and I feel due diligence was not done in finding the issue causing it. It was not until i came and had to pay that i drove the car and had the mechanic get in the car to show him the noise and then they got it back up on the rack and found it within minutes. Overall, I was not called and told any diagnosis of anything allowing me to make a judgment call on if I wanted this shop to do the work. Rather, I was called and told work was completed which forced me to use this shop. Now I have to go to another shop and start this process all over again and pay another deductible through my warranty company. On top of all this. I picked the car up Friday and just noticed that there is damage to my vehicle which was not there prior to me bringing this to them. I see the front end of my car every day. I know if this was broken or not. Which they denied and said it was like this when I brought it.

Had the best experience with these guys I had some break work done by another mechanic and he really screwed my breaks up they not only fixed them but wasn't costly thank you for taking the time to fix them correctly will be back to get other work done

I have used Parkman Automotive several times over the past couple years and have never had an experience that was less than great. Last week I took my car in for a brake job, oil change, and to have them look at a couple other random things that I was concerned about. They checked over everything and were honest enough to not take advantage of every little concern I had by charging me to do something I didn't need done. At the end of the day I only needed to have my brakes, pads, and rotors replaced and an oil change (all of which I assumed needed done to begin with). It's been a few days now of frequent driving and I have had ZERO problems. Additionally, the price I was charged for the work on my car was literally hundreds of dollars less than what I was quoted for the exact same work from one of their competitors on Elm Rd. Parkman Automotive will remain my go to shop for all of my automotive repair needs, and I will continue to recommend them to anyone looking for a great auto shop. Also, Julie in the office is awesome and extremely pleasant to deal with. Mario (I believe), the mechanic I spoke with prior to taking my car in to the shop, and also one that ended up working on my car, did a great job with addressing my concerns and not making me feel like a bother or as if I was dumb when it came to cars simply because I'm a woman. That isn't something you get in most shops. I certainly appreciate that kind of customer service. 👍
