Pacific Tire Introduce
Welcome to the local information page for Pacific Tire, a business listed under the Auto Repair Stations category, located at 3862 W Imperial Hwy, Inglewood, CA 90303, USA. Pacific Tire can be contacted at (310) 677-1544 or their mobile number +1 310-677-1544. As a tire shop, Pacific Tire likely specializes in the sale, installation, and repair of tires for various types of vehicles. They may also offer related services such as wheel mounting, balancing, and potentially some general auto repair.
When choosing a tire shop, local users typically consider factors such as the selection of tire brands and sizes, pricing, the speed and quality of service, the expertise of the staff, and the overall customer experience. Online reviews can provide valuable insights into these aspects, offering a glimpse into the experiences of other customers who have interacted with Pacific Tire. In this case, the available reviews present a mixed picture, with one highlighting a positive gesture and another detailing a significant issue regarding the age of tires sold.
One customer recounts a positive initial interaction where Pacific Tire quickly mounted a new rim on their tire. When it turned out to be the wrong size, the customer appreciated that the shop saved the rim box they had left behind and then removed the incorrect rim. Notably, when the customer inquired about the cost for this service, Pacific Tire responded with "whatever you would like to give," which the reviewer interpreted as a "very kind gesture" leading them to recommend the place to others. This review suggests that Pacific Tire is capable of providing quick service and can exhibit commendable customer service in certain situations.
However, another, more detailed review presents a serious concern. This long-term customer of Pacific Tire expresses disappointment with a recent experience involving the purchase of replacement tires for their 2014 car. Despite not driving frequently and keeping the car garaged, the "new" tires they purchased from Pacific Tire began cracking on the sides prematurely, even though the tread was not worn down. Upon investigation, the customer discovered that the tires, although sold as new, were actually manufactured in 2011 – making them older than the car itself at the time of installation. The reviewer believes they likely purchased these replacement tires around 2019, meaning they were sold tires that were already approximately eight years old at the time of purchase. This experience led the customer to realize that the premature failure of the tires was likely due to their age.
The reviewer expresses regret for not knowing how to read tire date codes prior to this incident and states they will be more informed in the future to prevent this from happening again. As a result of this negative experience, the customer states they will no longer patronize Pacific Tire and will instead continue going to Costco, citing Costco's excellent tire warranty (covering flats) and included tire rotations, as well as the fact that Pacific Tire's prices were not significantly lower. The reviewer strongly advises others to "Do not go here unless you want old, outdated tires." This review raises significant concerns about the potential practice of selling old stock as new tires at Pacific Tire.
Considering these contrasting reviews, local users should be aware of both the potential for quick and kind service in some instances, as well as the serious risk of purchasing significantly aged tires that are presented as new. The detailed negative review highlights the importance for customers to be vigilant about checking tire date codes at the time of purchase to ensure they are indeed receiving recently manufactured tires.
As a tire shop, Pacific Tire likely offers a range of services related to tires and wheels. These typically include:
- Tire sales: Offering a variety of tire brands and sizes for different types of vehicles. The negative review suggests that the age of the stock might be a concern.
- Tire installation: Mounting and balancing new tires on wheels. The initial positive review mentions quick rim mounting.
- Tire repair: Fixing punctures and other types of tire damage.
- Wheel services: Including mounting and potentially alignment.
- Tire rotation: Moving tires to different positions on the vehicle to promote even wear. One reviewer notes that this is included with tire purchases at Costco.
- Potentially, the sale of wheels and other related accessories.
Information about the environment of Pacific Tire is not provided in the reviews. A typical tire shop would have a service area with tire mounting and balancing equipment, as well as a storage area for their tire inventory. There would also be a customer service counter and possibly a waiting area.
Features that a reputable tire shop should offer include a knowledgeable staff who can help customers choose the right tires for their vehicles and driving needs, transparent pricing, and clear communication about the age and warranty of the tires being sold. The negative review raises concerns about the latter two aspects at Pacific Tire. While the positive review highlights a kind gesture, it does not provide insight into their general pricing or warranty policies.
Promotional information is not included in the provided reviews. Tire shops often offer discounts on specific tire brands, seasonal promotions (e.g., for winter or summer tires), or package deals that include installation and other services. Local users interested in potential promotions at Pacific Tire would need to contact them directly or visit their location to inquire.
In conclusion, Pacific Tire in Inglewood, CA, presents a mixed profile based on the available customer reviews. While one review praises a kind service gesture, another details a significant issue involving the sale of very old tires as new. This discrepancy suggests that while positive interactions can occur, there may be inconsistencies in their business practices, particularly regarding the age of their tire inventory. Local users considering Pacific Tire for their tire needs should exercise caution and ensure they verify the manufacturing date of any tires before purchasing them. Comparing prices and warranty options with other tire providers, as one reviewer ultimately did, is also advisable. Without further information, it is difficult to provide a definitive assessment of Pacific Tire's overall service quality and reliability.

Pacific Tire Customer Reviews
They put my new rim on my tire really quickly. It ended up being the wrong size, I called them because I left the rim box behind. They saved it for me and took off the rim and when I asked them how much they said whatever you would like to give. It was a very kind gesture and I would recommend this place to anyone.

I've been coming to this place for years, but sadly, it's gone downhill. My car is a 2014, and when I needed new tires, I trusted them to take care of it. Even though I don't drive often and my car is kept in a garage, the replacement (new, not used) tires they sold me started cracking on the sides way too soon. The tread wasn't run down at all yet. Come to find out, the "new" tires they put on were actually manufactured in 2011 -- meaning they were already older than my car when they installed them! This also means they sold me very old tires, because I didn't buy new tires in 2014 (since my car was brand new). I likely purchased new tires around 2019, though I wish I remembered the exact year. No wonder the tires didn't last as long as they should have. I'm glad I learned how to read the date codes on tires after this experience, so this won't happen to me again. However, I'll just continue going to Costco. Their warranty is excellent -- if I get a flat, they'll cover it -- and tire rotations are included in the price. Plus, this shop wasn't even much cheaper than Costco to begin with. Do not go here unless you want old, outdated tires.

I had a nail in my tire. My regular tire shop was closed and I stopped in on a whim. Boy was it a good whim, they were fast and efficient in changing and replacing my tire. Not overpriced and customer service was on point.

They took care of me when I came in for new set of tires for my Corolla. Was given a few different options and they explained the difference between them. Service was great! Would recommend to all.

I came Sunday mourning roughly around 11:30 I brought in my black AMG Mercedes i had to change front tires , they showed case me two which looked from the outside but from the inside were air bubbles. Had to keep pumping in air each gas station. I had to drive back to san jose that evening and tire’s were not good whatsoever. If i could give this place a zero for the poor acknowledgment i would. I had to pay outta pocket again for two new tries back here in san jose. Took me a while to find this location since they didn’t even bothered giving me a receipt either. Hopefully you guy’s make this right !
