Based on the provided customer reviews, a significant feature that emerges is a serious concern regarding the business practices, communication, and timeliness of service at Osteens Collision. Multiple reviewers recount experiences of extended delays, alleged dishonesty, and a lack of communication regarding the status of their vehicle repairs. One reviewer reported waiting for nine weeks for a truck repair that was claimed to be "almost done," only to find that no work had been started. This resulted in the customer having to pay out of pocket to tow the vehicle to another shop. Another review details a five-month ordeal where the vehicle was allegedly untouched despite assurances of imminent completion, followed by an attempt to charge storage fees when the customer tried to move the car to a different body shop. These accounts paint a picture of significant issues with customer service, transparency, and the ability to deliver repairs within a reasonable timeframe, as well as concerns about the integrity of the business.

The negative feedback is stark and consistent across the provided reviews, focusing on:

  • Lack of communication and unresponsiveness to customer inquiries.
  • Significant delays in completing repairs, far exceeding initial estimates.
  • Allegations of dishonesty and providing false information about the progress of repairs.
  • Attempts to conceal the lack of work done on vehicles.
  • Unexpected charges, such as storage fees for vehicles not being actively repaired.

These reported experiences raise serious concerns about the reliability and ethical conduct of Osteens Collision. Potential customers should carefully consider this feedback when deciding whether to entrust their vehicle repairs to this establishment.

Currently, there is no information available online regarding any specific promotional offers or discounts from Osteens Collision. Collision repair centers may sometimes have partnerships with insurance companies or offer specials on certain types of repairs. However, given the negative experiences reported in the reviews, it would be advisable for potential customers to prioritize clear communication, realistic timelines, and transparent billing practices over any potential promotions. If considering Osteens Collision, it would be prudent to thoroughly discuss the repair process, obtain a detailed written estimate, and understand the expected timeline before committing to their services.

In conclusion, Osteens Collision in Hopkinsville, KY, specializes in auto collision repair services. However, the available customer reviews paint a concerning picture of their business practices, marked by allegations of dishonesty, poor communication, and extensive delays in completing repairs. Potential local users should be aware of this feedback, which suggests significant issues with customer service and the reliability of their repair process. Due to the severity and consistency of the negative reviews, individuals seeking collision repair services in Hopkinsville may want to exercise extreme caution and consider alternative auto repair stations with more positive and reliable customer feedback. It is crucial to prioritize transparency, communication, and a proven track record of quality service when choosing a collision repair provider.

Osteens Collision Customer Reviews

You 100% lied multiple times. You know what you did was wrong. I just don't want this to happen to anyone else. Beware! I'm not sure how this business has so many good reviews. We hit a deer Christmas Eve and had the truck towed there the first week of Jan. The owner told us that he would have it done in 2 to 3 wks. After about a month and no communication from the shop we started going by there to check on the status since our insurance would only pay for a rental for 30 days. Every week for a month he told us it would be done by the end of the week. At one point he told us it was almost done he was just waiting on one headlight that was on back order. During this time he moved the truck from the outside lot to inside the garage so we wouldn't be able to see it. Monday March 4 he told us it was almost done and it would be ready Friday. So it went to check on Wednesday March 6 and found out the shop was closed the rest of the week because he left on vacation, so there's no way he would have had it completed by Friday and we asked to see the truck and take pictures. He had not touched it. Hadn't even taken off the broken pieces to really see what all needed to be done so he probably didn't even have the parts at the shop. We had to pay out of pocket to have the truck towed to a different shop. I'm not sure what the problem was but I would definitely have been more understanding if he had been honest. Instead he blatantly lied to our face multiple times, going so far as to try to hide the vehicle from us. Shady practices and immoral character. This is the picture of the truck sitting in his shop the day we had it towed away (you know, the truck he had for 9 weeks and said was almost done).

Bad faith! My insurance company gave him my car on April 5, He had never answered the phone for 4 months, He answered the phone once after 4 months and told me he got all parts and can finish it in 2 weeks. But he lied to me, he never touched the car. After 5 months, when we tried to take the car to another bodyshop, he tried to force us to pay for storage as the Insurance company told me. It's the worst business ever! I was the one who should sue him for $72k that I lost because of he kept my vehicle there illegally and kept lying to me for 5 months. I got all the records. Never take your vehicle there unless you decide to pick it up after 6 months without anything done!

I'm a 64 year old woman living on a fixed income. I borrowed money off of my life insurance to have my car fixed. I took the vehicle to Osteens to see if they could fix it in late Sept. early Oct. Of this year. I explained what it was doing and asked if they could repair it, both the owner and his son assured me they could. I trusted them completely. They ordered 2 Evaps for it , That didn't work, so I left it again and they hooked it up again and couldn't find the problem, although they did pour a 1/2 quart of transmission fluid in it. This went on for a couple of more times until finally they told me they couldn't fix it. They said it eas the transmission. They did fix a few cosmetic things it needed and charged me $300.00 for a booster for my radio. Another mechanic told me they could have gotten it for$ 150.00. Well I find out that they are not even mechanics, They are a body shop. I asked for part of my money back and they said get a lawyer!!! I paid them $ 1200.00 and I guess I will be walking soon. My advice is just because someone smiles and says yes mam doesn't make them honest!!
