Omni One Auto Repair Customer Reviews

The fan of the A/C of my truck stopped working. Took the truck there to fix it. The owner left my truck sitting there for over two hours for the part to cool off. Charged me $195.00, gave me back the key and the truck when the part cooled off and the fan turned back on, then told me that it was working now and that the module was likely to fail again and that I will need to buy the part and pay again for the installation of it. The mechanic did not touch or fixed anything on my truck on that day other than letting the bad part cool off. Not even 15 minutes after leaving the shop, the fan dies again the same was as before, but of course, right after charging me $195.00 for doing nothing to my truck, he also told me that the module might be bad and that was another job, so now he covered himself for doing nothing and charging me anyways when he knew that was the only problem from the beginning. I discovered that the only part that failed was the blower motor resistor. Since he did not fix it, I learned I can fix that myself with an $18-$19 part from eBay and replacing the old part with the new one behind the glove compartment. Lost the money this shop charged me for nothing. I could have fixed this myself with a simple one minute Google search, an $18 or $19 part and 15 minutes worktime. Rip off. Never again.

The mechanics at this location are not honest. The work they do on your car will cause other problems in your car and they will not own up to it being their fault. Most recently I purchased a battery from them which had a "1 year warranty" on it. It died 5 months later. When I called the shop they asked me what did I expect them to do. David the owner of the shop will tell you anything but no work you have done on your will be less than $300. This has been the worst experience I've ever had with a mechanic.....PLEASE DON'T LET THEM TOUCH YOUR CAR.
