Nu Look Autobody Repair

I had my car towed to Nu Look Body Shop on 12/13/24 didn’t get the car back until 1/31/25. My car was not secured while in their possession. It was parked on the street and someone attempted to break in which bent the door out not only that I asked that the replaced rims be returned to me all I got was the run around that they were sent out to a repair shop which I had no knowledge of nor consent to. If you want your car back in a timely manner look as where for a reliable and honest shop this not the one.

I’ve recently had an experience where I bought my car here to get repairs to the body done. However, the way this business is run is very unprofessional. I got my side panel fixed for $800 (which was still a bit high, but can’t complain because they made the panel look brand new) but here’s where the problems start: 1. Don’t expect to contact the business via phone number because they don’t respond. I had to keep visiting the place because no one was answering/returning my calls in regards to the status of the vehicle. I understand that shops get busy, but if I’m a paying client, it’s imperative that you keep in contact in order to ensure that the client and shop are on the same page. 2. The manager tried to charge me an extra $200 (would’ve bumped price up to $1,000) for a fix THAT I DID NOT AUTHORIZE NOR AGREE ON upon signing the invoice. I was not about to pay for something that I never agreed on/consented Overall, car quality wise is a solid 10/10. However, I was very disappointed with the customer service experience and the lack of professionalism which is why I give this place a 2/5 instead of a 1/5. Not a good experience at this bodyshop and will be definitely doing business elsewhere.

Love this body shop. Winston and his crew are very professional and talented. They have amazing customer service starting with Stacy who made the paperwork process easy and quick. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for good body work.

Just driving my car into the Mercedes dealership after getting my insurance to cover a damage that was a result of my accident (which was Nu Looks job btw), and hearing the service expert rant about how terrible my car was worked on, and hearing all the sounds and seeing the terrible work this company has done on my car, I have been debating whether to take them to court but to also write this review so I can help others become aware. The unprofessionalism at this place is alarming however the work they did on my car is INDESCRIBABLE (literally crying as I write this) My hope after having a rear end hit was to get my car back as it was before the accident but other than a good paint job, l had to point out to these “experts” all the minor and major problems my car still had even though they had my car for 3 MONTHS PLUS. This company has no HAVE NO ATTENTION TO DETAILS, NO MECHANICAL EXPERIENCE and IS RUNNING A SCAM BUSINESS. Every time I went to look at my car it was either in the same condition I left it or something was missing from it. Even though Mercedes is currently fixing the major problem with my car, I still have to return my car to Nu Look for them to fix smaller problems, and I’m already stressed about my car going back there…WHY? Because while my car was there it received dents and scratches and garbage filled the inside of my car, food and work tools . And forget about them calling to say the car is ready for pick up, because they won’t!

I am a frequent flyer, Cash is actually replacing my transmission now. Nu- look has done work on both my BMW and VOLKSWAGEN. I recommend him to anyone in need of auto repair. It's not just auto body. Salute to NU-LOOK AUTO. JC
