Totally annoyed and disappointed with this service department. Dropped my car off to be checked out. I was told that the oxygen sensor needed to be replaced and then they had to test drive it to see if the check engine light came back on I was told that the total charge would be $700. Got a call back that the oxygen sensor was changed and now the other oxygen sensor is indicating it’s bad. The cost to repair that would be another $700, for a total cost of $1400 but that the work could not be done until Monday because they had to order the part. I initially said ok but then changed my mind and decided to just go get my car. Glad I did. I was handed a bill for 941.99. I was told that the 1st sensor they ordered was more than they originally thought and that they had to put $15 worth of gas in my car to test drive it. Totally ridiculous because if the part was more than they originally quoted, they should’ve called me to get authorization before the work was done. Additionally, when the car was dropped off, my husband said it was nearly a full tank of gas so they never put $15 worth of gas in my car When I got to my car to check the gauge, it was near nearly a full tank so they didn’t put $15 in the car They just charged the $15 saying that they did. Not including tax and the additional charges the charge that they told me was $700 was $561 for labor and $285.69 for parts for a total of 846.69. $146.69 more than what they even quoted me when they called for the authorization then add the tax and gas that they didn’t put in the car This place is a total rip off. Also I had a coupon for 10% off parts and service that I was told they wouldn’t honor because they were already giving me a discount!! How did you give me a discount when over the phone I was told that my total was $700. I understand adding the tax but they added way more than tax for my total to be $846.99. What would it have been without the discount?

Wasted time! Made an appointment and took the day off. When I arrived , I stood there waiting for someone to call me over. I honestly didn't want Michael because it's always something with him so I was waiting for 2 other guys to actually acknowledge me standing there but they were just chatting away so Michael said you can come over. No good morning, no friendly smile. He starts tapping away on the computer and says I have to pay for service because my contract was up at 50k miles I explained to him that, that information was incorrect and that my contract was until 2026 or 75k but he said no and said I can just take my car back, which I did. This place is close to home ,so it's convenient but I guess I'll have to try another Toyota service center.
