MrKitt’s Service Center & Towing

I came here to have my oil changed and new rear tires put on. From the phone call, to the interaction with the gentleman at the front, to speaking with Mr. Kitt himself once my car was done, this was a comfortable and heartening experience. They go above and beyond here because when it's the right thing to do, it's the right thing to do. I'm no fool when it comes to car care thanks to my dad, but as a woman, I'm often wary of what perception a male mechanic might have of me. Am i going to be overcharged? Condescended to? Will there be somewhere comfortable and safe to wait for the work to be done? I say this as someone who prefers to patronize local and small business whenever possible. Apparently, this was part of the owner's motivation for making sure his shop was welcoming and trustworthy: what setting and service would his wife, daughter, mother, sister feel comfortable with if they had to take their vehicles to a shop? I appreciate this consideration sincerely. And, with their 9 year anniversary coming up next month, it's clear they are doing something very right here. The shop and waiting area are clean, the customer service is on point, the work is superb and thorough, and they make take a little while, but that's because they're popular for a reason, and they don't rush the repairs. Add to all that I had a great time waiting for my car to be done because the folks who work here are genuine and funny. I could say plenty, but the point is they are professional, honest, transparent, and willing to educate any car owner on the work they are doing and why. It inspires a great deal of confidence in me, and I'm sure I'm not alone in that sentiment. I am a guaranteed return customer, and grateful to have found this treasure of an auto shop so close to home!

I needed to get my catalytic converter replaced and it was under a warranty. I was turned away by a few other dealers in the area but when I called Mr. Kitt's, they confidently told me they dealt with situations like this before and to bring in my vehicle. The owner is on site. He was understanding, communicative, transparent, and his staff is professional. I highly recommend Mr. Kitt's and will continue to support local businesses!

They were able to fit me in and got my car fixed in an emergency situation. I needed brakes and rotors.They took great care of me. The free coffee hit the spot. I will go back and let them work on my other vehicles as well. Great vibes too.

Great shop! I rolled in with no appointment after being on the expressway with my car starting to break down and they let me drop off my car on the spot. The next morning they sent an estimate with a link to a video of what was wrong with it, and had it fixed by that afternoon. I highly recommend!
