I recently brought my car for new front struts to be installed at the Palm Desert store on Town Center Way. After the installation was completed I noticed that the passenger side front windshield was cracked. Upon inspection, it became clear that the crack was caused during the installation process. I brought this to the attention of the shop's manager, James, to explain what had happened and to request that they take responsibility for the damage. However, after speaking with James, he denied any responsibility for the crack and refused to accept liability for the damage to my car. This situation has been quite inconvenient and I feel that the shop should take responsibility for the damage caused during the repair process UPDATE: Monro Inc. the parent company of Mountain View Tires did the right thing and accepted responsibility and paid for the windshield replacement. As a caveat, this only happened after I reached out to them and filed a claim with their corporate office, but still good on them.

UPDATE: Still waiting for my refund for the services that messed up my car. Daniel said this would take a few weeks and still has not happened. What the hell happened to this place ? Wanna talk about NOT FEELING SAFE AS A FEMALE. Just take your car to JAMES! I've been taking my car here since 2020, maybe longer. It used to be a decent place when DANIEL was there. It was close to home. I could drop my car off and walk home. Find a ride. Come back later, easy for all. Where the hell did this JAMES guy come from ? Who gave this guy a job in customer service bc he's is straight aggressive. Makes me think he's on drugs or something. Not normal behavior for YELL at customers when you are a manager. I stopped taking my car there for a while bc of the downward spiral of staff. But I unfortunately made the wrong decision to give them another try in 9/14/24 for oil change w/ a FREE tire rotation. I got a nail in the side wall took my car in 11/5/24 went to Americas tires where I bought the tires last October and road side hazard(they also are very unorganized and won't buy from there again) Long story short, Americas tire was not able to get one of my rear tires off. Being a SUBARU IMPREZA AWD the lug nuts need to be put on CORRECTLY they cross threaded my lug nuts. Can't get them off without breaking shit. I called that day and JAMES answered the phone I told him what was going on, my car is a safety hazard,I was not happy not happy tones for James, he said I would need to leave my car there over night bc they had others. Ok understand. Why not offer me an appt the following day? Instead of trying to argue with me about it. Saying another shop is trying to blame his shop. My boyfriend called today to make an APPOINTMENT for TOMORROW and oh JAMES said bring it asap in that's a safety hazard. They looked at it in the bay driveway, tried to loose them. Couldn't get them off. My boyfriend asking how long was it going to take, JAMES became very aggressive and confrontational with my boyfriend. I advised my boyfriend to record this. So we have plenty of proof they attempted to work on my lug nuts. I was not there so I attempted to call JAMES many times, spoke to him a few times but he also hung up on me 4-5 times. Refuses to give me his last name but he's dumb and it's on the paperwork JAMES HARTY JR. Arguing with my boyfriend about the car has not been there since 2021. Wrong. It was there 9/19/24. Saying we did not buy the tires there, no shit that's what we told you. They are so unorganized. 1- They could never get my name in their system right. So I have multiple accounts there. Asked many times for that to be corrected but I guess it's too hard. So I would always give my phone number to look up my account. 2- They stopped giving out the "report cards" on your car. Last time I got one of those was 2022. I have copies. HOW CAN YOU FEEL SAFE AS A FEMALE TAKING YOUR CAR INTO THE AUTO SHOP. they don't give a crap an about my safety. My tires have been messed up since 9/19/24 and it's 11/8/24. NEVER going back here. I have filed a complaint with Monro against this location and JAMES. Now I have to take my car to SUBARU bc these 'tards don't know how to work on AWD cars. I hope corporate pays out on this otherwise see ya in small claims court! We deserve to feel safe driving our cars out of your auto business. I had to miss jobs due to this. I'm scared to driving my ONLY car for fear it's going to get even more messed up. But JAMES doesn't care. He has no problem screaming at you over the phone when. I hope James loses his job over all these complaints soon! I spoke with MITCH at Monro. Very helpful. Took me serious. 1 800 297 9886 I called the other Mountain View in PD and got way more compassion from RICARDO who I have never even met, and his manager STEPHANY. But I am just going back to Subaru dealer for my car. At least I feel safe driving off the lot after they work on it

My low tire light came on when exiting the i-10. I was headed to Towne center to nationwide when this happened. When asking if anyone would be open ( this was a Sunday) I was directed to mountain view. They were only 1 1/2 blocks away. They fixed issued was in an out within an hr and paid the quoted price. I was able to continue on my trip without fear of my tires having any additional issues. My gratitude to the staff.

The individual employed at the front desk exudes an apparent lack of interest in the profitability of the establishment, resulting in an unfriendly demeanor. Having been present for a mere minute, I have come to the realization that I am not inclined to leave my vehicle in the care of such individuals. Therefore, I strongly advise against patronizing this establishment.

Went in yesterday for an oil change and tire rotation and James the manager greeted me with the most welcoming greeting that I have ever had at any other place! He was super helpful and he let his team know that I was on a time crunch and had to make it to a meeting and he got me in and out of there in no time! So thank you Mountain View for putting the right managers in charge!
