Mountain View Tire & Auto Service

The service is always great. I have been going there for at least 10 years. Mountain View has serviced at least 6 to 8 vehicles of mine through the years for numerous services. I'm very thankful for them keeping me and my families vehicles safe and on the road. Customer service is wonderful. All of the staff are great people.

On 12/4/24 I had 4 tires replaced but they did not do wheel alignment's so I go to Mountainview in Fontana for the alignment. I was greeted very nicely and sat down to wait. 20-30 min later a tech returns to tell me they won't honor a warranty on the alignment because they found the following: rack and pinion leaking, outer boot leak, power steering pump leak, torque mount torn, rear motor mounts issue. I said don't do the work, I've just had these repairs fixed so I will take the car back to my mechanic. The tech leaves and quickly returns saying that the work is started and too far gone to stop. I'm beyond upset since they advertise a courtesy inspection, why would you tell me after the fact. The communication was terrible and I feel like this was just a ploy for me to pay. I've patronized this business before without issues but NEVER AGAIN

Running smoothly before I allowed them to "service" my car. Spent over $13,000 in repairs. Car spends more time in the shop than on the road. Repair after repair. Part after part due to their "working" on my car. Now car won't pass smog. Just a big expensive paperweight now.

Driving home from a wedding in NV, my car battery warning light came on and I lost power steering. The next exit was Baseline and we pulled into their shop. Our alternator was dead. They made us a priority started working on the issue right away and got us back on the road towards San Diego as soon as they could. We did spend hours with them but all the staff were very friendly and kind. My car was fixed and we made it home safely. Thank you for great service!!!

The guy at the front counter was very helpful and upfront went in to have my front brakes replaced. They did a great job so much so that I’m going to bring another card to them. It’s hard to find good mechanics these days, but these guys are honest and good
