Mountain Tire and Service

I have nothing but excellent things to say about mountain tire. They are thorough, They are compassionate, and honest about the work that needs to be done on vehicles. The staff is super friendly and very professional, especially Cricket at the front desk. She is always helpful and looks out for her customers and tries to get them the best reasonable price for their repairs and is always willing to work with for customers. I highly recommend mountain tire to anyone who has any repair needs or general service needs for their vehicles

Today …… I had an Angel on my shoulder with Mountain Tire and Service….. on Christmas Eve morning my car would not start…… not the best way to start a holiday!!!! I called and a service truck was at my home very quickly to give my battery a jolt to get me going and to replace my battery in their shop. Over the last few years, I have had my car serviced at Mountain Tire and Service regularly with a consistent high level of service, fair pricing and timely resolutions. Do not use this company! The girl, I believe her name is cricket is beyond rude and has an attitude. We rented a tow dolly from them which they hooked up and scraped out vehicle to. We drove it less than 5 miles and the straps were coming off the tires. We called to have them fix it and was told no one was there that could do anything about it. We asked how long it would be before someone could come and she said a while. No help at all. We ended up doing the best we could to get it restraped and drove it back to their shop. She again said nothing they can do about it without even looking at the car or dolly. We asked if we could switch to a full car dolly since they had one on the lot. And was told no we would have to drive to airport Rd in Hendersonville to get one (again still with the tow dolly that the straps were not staying on). That was the only option we were given. She said she would let them know we were on the way and have our reservation switched to them. They did not know anything about us coming when we arrived and the reservation was never switched. Crickets answer to everything is nothing we can do or call 1800uhaul. Zero help and only attitude from start to finish.

Recently I had the displeasing experience having to deal with this company. The female rudely and disrespectfully firmly tells me it’s $386!!! Mountain Tire and TOWING towed my vehicle 5.8 mile!!!! I arrived at their business 3 hours after it was towed. I was astounded at the towing fee and her rude behavior towards me. She would not allow me to get my pocketbook, work badge anything out of my vehicle apprx. 2:30pm. She would not except payment by credit,debit or personal check as I needed the car to go to work that night. ONLY CASH!!! I had never been treated so disrespected in my life!! You would have thought I was a criminal escapee or something!! Day 2 I am prepared to pay this ridiculous rip off towing fee and she answers the phone Sat. Morning at 9am and states they are closed Sat. And Sunday. Monday 9am I go to Mountain tire and Towing company to get my vehicle. The amount is now $486 as a 2 day storage fee of $50. This is an illegal act per government regulation to charge a storage fee when your company is not even open to regain your vehicle. Of course the rude female I dealt with had no conversation or time to discuss this with me. Wanted cash!!! I did have to pay it but it is not over. I would not recommend this company to a snake.!!!!! The woman needs to learn how to respect people and not just fill her pockets full of CASH!!!
