I bought my car from Morong Falmouth. I was so impressed that I started having my service done at the service department, even though I have a VW dealer in my home town of Auburn which is 20 miles away from Morong Falmouth. My recent experience had been anything but satisfactory. I scheduled for my most recent service on-line. I even called the week before to verify the time of my appointment. NO ONE mentioned that when you book online you can't schedule an appointment time -- They assume you are dropping off your car and will come get it when they are done with it. I would have appreciated, the person I spoke with letting me know that. Since I dropped off my car for an oil change and state inspection at 9:15 and didn't leave the building till after 2pm. When, I spoke to the service desk he explained that he would try to see if it could be done any sooner and he would let me know. He never came to tell me anything about the status of my vehicle -- ironically they text you while in the waiting room saying if you need anything or have any questions you can text back and they would respond -- I received NO response when asking about the status of my car. It hurts to get ghosted by your service department while you wait in the same building. I will really have to think twice before heading back there for my routine maintenance.

It's extremely disappointing for me to write this review for the service department, as I am a long time customer of Morong, and have been pleased when working with other service advisors such as Dylan, and sales managers such as Dan. Today, I worked with another individual when bringing in my vehicle for service. I provided my own transmission oil, and motor oil, yet no deduction in price was made in the cost of the transmission fluid exchange. I watched my car get pulled out of the spot it was left in that morning while waiting in their lobby, and it was only in their hands for two hours before being complete. I ended up being charged $556 in labor. This is because the hourly rate for the oil change fell outside of the hourly rate that was being applied for the transmission fluid exchange, and also outside of the hour applied to diagnosis of suspension noise. The hour for diagnosis was also supposed to be prorated if it took less time, which it was not. Another service advisor sitting next to him began to condescendingly tell me that this is how every auto shop works--and also that every service has a flat rate instead of hourly, which unless it was my first day on earth--I might have believed. The service advisor claimed that he went over the prices with me that morning, which he did not, or I would have never approved the service if I was quoted for two hours of work for a simple fluid exchange, and a third hour for an oil change. I made my appointment request online, and was able to add specific services to the work order. The technician went on to tell me in their recommended services summary that my cabin air filter needs to be replaced for $90 (a $20 dollar part that takes 5 minutes to replace with no special tools), and that my thermostat housing should be replaced for $2,000. There was no reason for the technician to be pulling apart my glove box looking at my cabin air filter. To top things off, the person running my car to and from the parking lot to the service bay was vaping inside it when I came over to ask if it was done. It looked like he hardly knew how to drive a manual when he stalled it bringing it into the service bay. In short, I am extremely disappointed in Morong's Service department’s lack of customer care, professionalism, and for essentially triple charging me, and will not be returning, and will also be disputing today's service with American Express. I learned while writing this review that the service consultant I liked working with was fired for taking off too many days while taking care of his wife with brain cancer. Just goes to show how much Morong cares about doing the right thing. I would recommend anyone looking for service on a German vehicle goes to Autowerkes in Freeport, where transparency is valued.

I dropped off my 2024 mazda eiyh multiple electronical issues included inability to lock the rear hatch. After waiting more than a month for a warranty service appointment then said "it's fine, we couldn't find wrong with it", but when I got home my truck still doesn't lock!
