Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers Introduce

Located at 227 Three Springs Dr, Weirton, WV 26062, USA, Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers is a national chain operating within the "Auto Repair Stations" category, offering a broad spectrum of automotive repair and tire services to the local community. As a well-known brand, Monro aims to provide comprehensive vehicle maintenance solutions, though customer experiences, as reflected in available reviews, can be quite varied.

The environment at a Monro Auto Service and Tire Center generally follows a standardized corporate model. This typically includes a customer waiting area, a service counter for check-ins and inquiries, and multiple service bays equipped for various types of automotive work, including tire mounting and balancing, brake repairs, and exhaust system installations. The physical setup is designed to be functional, accommodating a steady flow of vehicles for routine maintenance and more complex repairs. Given its classification as an "Auto Repair Station," the facility would house diagnostic equipment, lifts, and a range of tools necessary for professional automotive service. However, the nature of customer feedback, particularly concerning perceived inconsistencies in service and staff turnover, might suggest variability in the day-to-day operational environment at this specific location. While one review speaks to a "friendly and helpful" staff, others detail significant issues with communication, perceived exploitation, and quality control, which could impact the overall atmosphere experienced by different customers. An ideal environment for an auto repair shop fosters trust and transparency, and while some elements may be in place, the consistency appears to be a challenge here.

Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers typically offer a wide array of services and goods for sale, covering most essential automotive needs. Their core services include comprehensive tire sales and services (mounting, balancing, rotation, repair), brake system inspections and repairs (pads, rotors, calipers), and various forms of exhaust system work (muffler repair, custom exhaust, full system replacement). Beyond these specialties, they provide general vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, fluid flushes, battery testing and replacement, and suspension and steering repairs. Diagnostic services to identify warning lights or performance issues are also generally available. As part of a larger chain, they have access to a wide range of auto parts from various manufacturers. One positive review highlights their ability to handle a complex issue like a "locked brake pad that basically destroyed the hub of the trailer," demonstrating capability for more intricate repairs. However, it's also clear that their service execution can be inconsistent, with a detailed negative review indicating issues with an "exhaust job" and subsequent problems that suggest a lack of thoroughness in other areas of the vehicle. This variability is a key aspect for potential customers to consider when evaluating their service offerings.

The features of Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers, particularly the Weirton location, are characterized by a striking contrast in customer experiences. On one hand, a significant positive feature is the presence of staff members who are willing to "go the extra mile" for customers, as exemplified by "Jacob" helping a customer four hours from home with an urgent trailer repair, ensuring everything was "repaired correctly so we could get back on the road safely." This demonstrates the potential for empathetic and effective service. On the other hand, several deeply concerning features emerge from other reviews. A major concern is the inconsistency in service quality and professionalism. Repeated issues such as broken parts during repair, loose body panels, significant delays, and perceived attempts to "exploit" female customers by recommending unnecessary repairs point to serious operational and ethical challenges. The high turnover of managers and technicians, as noted by a long-time customer, suggests a systemic issue that could contribute to this inconsistency and lack of accountability. The alleged removal of bolts and subsequent damage to a power steering reservoir, potentially impacting a customer's livelihood, represents a severe breakdown in quality control and trust. While some customers might have positive, efficient experiences, the documented severe negative experiences, particularly involving alleged deliberate negligence and overcharging, highlight significant risks associated with this location. This makes the "quality of work" a highly variable feature.

Regarding promotional information, Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers, as a national chain, frequently runs various promotions and offers. These typically include discounts on specific services like oil changes, brake service, tire purchases, and alignments. They often advertise seasonal deals (e.g., pre-winter checks, summer tire specials), rebates on certain tire brands, and package deals for multiple services. Online coupons and printable vouchers are commonly available on their corporate website, and customers might also receive promotions via email sign-ups. For example, common offers might include "Buy 3 Tires, Get 1 Free," "Save $20 on a Brake Service," or "Oil Change & Tire Rotation Special." However, the available reviews do not provide specific promotional information directly from the Weirton location, nor do they indicate how effectively customers can access or utilize such promotions. Given the significant customer dissatisfaction expressed in some reviews, potential customers might prioritize thoroughly vetting repair quotes and proposed services, regardless of any promotional offers. For the most up-to-date and reliable information on current promotions and specific service pricing at the Weirton location, local users are strongly advised to contact Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers directly at (681) 348-0261 or +1 681-348-0261. Visiting their location at 227 Three Springs Dr, Weirton, WV 26062, USA, would also allow for direct inquiry and discussion of service needs.

Monro Auto Service and Tire Centers Customer Reviews

I was four hours from my house when I was coming through the Weirton West Virginia area and lost the tire and wheel off of my trailer. It ended up being a locked brake pad that basically destroyed the hub of the trailer. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Jacob Who went the extra mile to make sure everything was repaired correctly so we could get back on the road safely. I had a very good experience with them and would recommend them for someone looking for their services.

Fun little update: a little over a year ago, in the process of putting a whole new exhaust on my car, this sham of a company let a mechanic break my car and still overcharged me for the work which I'm still trying to pay off as a disabled delivery driver that can no longer deliver with a broken car. We'll, that whole new exhaust system just broke. Now I can't get to my part time cashier job as a disabled American. I'm in ruin. Complete and total RUIN. and I still have $1500 to go til it's paid off. Thanks a lot. Happy holidays. If I could give 0 stars I would. Ladies, DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARS HERE unless you have a male escort you. If they think for one second that you are ignorant about cars, THEY MIGHT EXPLOIT THAT AND THEY MIGHT TAKE ADVANTAGE in my opinion. I used to love Monro and I USED TO TRUST them. NEVER AGAIN. I went in for all new exhaust. First of all, it was 50 MINUTES just sitting there before anyone even touched my car. And I was the ONLY CUSTOMER THERE. The "tech" decided to start ripping parts off and claiming they needed replaced, BEFORE the exhaust job was even done. I ONLY had funds for what I was quoted not a penny more so this upset me terribly. Not only that, the censor he pulled off claiming it was "stripped" was less than a damn year old. THEN, this (in my opinion) "fool" had a hard time with a final bolt to remove old cat, so he BROKE IT. HE BROKE MY CAR DUDES... THEN HE CLOCKED OUT AND WENT THE EFF HOME WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE HE BROKE MY DAMN CAR. I brought my car in at NOON that day. This man left at 4pm. So at this point, I had already been waiting 4 long hours. I had to find a ride home and back the next day. They ended up taking a measley $200 off the $1700 bill. Gee, thanks. I wish I could say it ends there. But no, it is now weeks later, and I just discovered that they removed A BUNCH of bolts from under the hood. I asked the last person that worked on my car if there were a bunch of bolts missing the last time he was under there, just a few months ago, and he said absolutely not and that he would have replaced them if he had seen that, so I know it was Monro. So, I was working one day last week and that squealing power steering belt sound kept happening so, I go to check and find that the power steer fluid reservoir is STUCK between some metal piping and the belt and the belt had filed away at the plastic cannister. This cannoster was just flopping around in the engine. This was happening because ALL THREE bolts that hold that bad boy in place were ALL BUSTED THE HELL OFF. Possibly, purposely, in my opinion. The worst part is I told these people that I'm a delivery driver, so they KNEW they were messing with my livelihood. So not only could they have caused me to have an accident on the road, in my opinion, and harmed me by doing this scam artist tom foolery- in my opinion. they could have wrecked my means of making an income, in my opinion, so I'm pretty pissed. It has caused me to lose faith in humanity. TRUST NO ONE LADIES. I will NEVER take my business to Monro in Weirton EVER AGAIN. And I encourage everyone to take there's only to trustworthy places as well. "Business" that's run like a scam doesn't deserve to survive, in my opinion. I was a faithful customer for 5 years. And in that 5 years, every single solitary time I took my car there, it was a different manager and never the same technician. So maybe that should have been a clue. If you have to scam people out of money to keep your business afloat, your not a legitimate business, you are just a scam in my opinion.

I had a trip coming up and needed to get 2 of my tires changed. My driver side rear tire had a slow leak and that one was the most important to get changed. When I left the shop I noticed that the new tires were both in the front of the car when the tire I needed changed was in the back. However they had written that they did a tire rotation so I trusted them. I also believe it’s common to put the new tires in the front of the car. Long story short, they changed the wrong tires and I drove 5 hours on a flat. They had never done the rotation either even though they had written that they did because the flat was in the same spot as it was before. I had to pay 180$ more to get a new tire before I made my trip home, and when I called too complain all they would offer me was a free tire rotation which comes with the tires I purchased from than anyways.

Awesome experience at this place every time I'm there. Spoke to Ryan today, explained my issue and they went out of their way to diagnose my issue and help get it taken care of. I would absolutely recommend.

Purchased road hazard warranty 9 months prior. Had a 4 inch bolt in my tire which I took in for repair. They did not honor the warranty stating it was their discretion
