Monday Gary Introduce

Located at 238 Elza Dr in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Monday Gary operates as an 'Auto Repair Station' providing a variety of services to local vehicle owners. Based on available customer reviews, Monday Gary appears to offer a range of auto repair and bodywork services, catering to different needs from mechanical fixes to cosmetic enhancements. This introduction aims to synthesize the provided feedback to give local users a detailed and objective understanding of what they might expect from Monday Gary.

While specific details about the physical environment of Monday Gary are not provided, auto repair shops typically feature a garage or workshop area equipped with the necessary tools and equipment for vehicle maintenance and repair. This would likely include areas for mechanical work, painting (if offered in-house), and possibly detailing. The customer interaction area might be a waiting room or an office where service discussions and payments take place. Without explicit information, it's challenging to describe the ambiance or specific amenities, but functionality and the ability to perform repairs are the primary aspects of such establishments.

The services offered by Monday Gary seem to be quite diverse, as indicated by the customer reviews. These services include:

  • Body Work and Painting: One customer specifically mentioned having their truck's hood painted with "excellent work." Another praised the high-quality paint job on their daughter's Honda Civic, which included dent removal and the addition of pinstripes. This suggests that Monday Gary has the capability to handle significant bodywork and provide quality paint finishes.
  • Mechanical Repair: The first review also noted that Monday Gary addressed an A/C leak and successfully fixed it. This indicates that their services extend beyond just bodywork to include mechanical repairs, suggesting a broader scope of automotive problem-solving.
  • Dent Removal: The positive feedback regarding the Honda Civic explicitly mentions the removal of dents, further highlighting their bodywork expertise.
  • Headlight Polishing: This was another service performed on the Honda Civic, indicating attention to detail and an understanding of how to improve a vehicle's appearance and safety.
  • Detailing (Potentially): The mention of a "person detailing the truck" suggests that detailing services might be offered, although this is not explicitly confirmed as a standard service for all repairs.

The features of Monday Gary, as gleaned from the reviews, present a somewhat mixed picture:

  • Quality of Work: Both positive reviews commend the quality of the repairs and bodywork performed. The paint job on the truck hood was described as "excellent," and the work on the Honda Civic was labeled "high quality." This suggests a proficiency in the technical aspects of their services.
  • Customer Accommodation: Brian, presumably an employee or the owner, was described as "easy to work with and very accommodating" in one instance. This points to a potential for positive and helpful customer interactions.
  • Reasonable Pricing: The work done on the Honda Civic was noted to be "reasonably priced," which is a significant factor for local users seeking value for their money.
  • Timeliness: The completion of the Honda Civic's repairs ahead of schedule is a notable positive feature, indicating efficiency and respect for the customer's time.

However, a significant concern raised in one of the reviews relates to the handling of personal belongings left inside the vehicle during the repair process. The customer reported several items missing after the service, including loose change, jumper cables, tie-down straps, a USB drive with music, and cleaning supplies. While Brian reportedly worked to resolve the issue and replaced some of the missing items, the incident caused considerable frustration and took nearly two weeks to address. This experience highlights a potential lack of security or oversight regarding items left in customer vehicles and serves as a strong caution for future customers.

The review also mentioned the customer finding items that did not belong to them in their truck and CDs being moved from their original places. These details, while seemingly minor compared to the missing items, suggest a lack of care or a disorganized approach during some part of the service process, possibly during detailing or cleaning.

Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Monday Gary based on the provided text. Auto repair shops sometimes offer discounts on specific services, seasonal specials (like pre-winter check-ups or summer AC service), or package deals. Local users interested in potential promotions should contact Monday Gary directly at (865) 483-3090 or +1 865-483-3090 to inquire about any current offers.

In conclusion, Monday Gary in Oak Ridge, TN, appears to be a capable 'Auto Repair Station' that delivers high-quality bodywork and mechanical repairs, as evidenced by the positive feedback regarding paint jobs, dent removal, headlight polishing, and A/C repair. The pricing has been described as reasonable, and in at least one instance, the work was completed ahead of schedule. However, a significant caveat is the reported issue of missing personal belongings from a customer's vehicle, which raises concerns about the security and handling of items left in the care of the shop. While the owner or manager, Brian, seems responsive in addressing such issues, this incident serves as a strong recommendation for customers to remove all valuables and personal items from their vehicles before leaving them for service at Monday Gary. Despite this serious concern, the quality of the actual repair work seems to be a strong point. Local users should weigh the positive feedback on service quality and pricing against the reported issue with personal belongings when considering Monday Gary for their auto repair needs. Direct communication with the shop regarding their security procedures and any service guarantees might also be beneficial.

Monday Gary Customer Reviews

Left my truck with them for a week to paint the hood while we were out of town. Brian was easy to work with and very accommodating. First, they did excellent work, the hood looks great!! They also did some mechanical work for me related to an A/C leak. Fixed that as well. Now the big issue -- When I picked up the truck, I noticed things missing. All the following was missing, loose change from the center console, jumper cables stored in a rear compartment BEHIND the back seat, 2 long tie down straps from under the rear seat, USB drive with hours of music and bottles of cleaner I kept in the truck - all gone. When I asked about this I was told that the person detailing the truck had removed them and forgotten to return them. I also found things that did not belong to me left in the truck under the driver’s seat and in the glove box. I returned all of those items to Brian. I also had CD's that had been removed from the CD player and center console and placed in the storage bin on the drivers side door. Not sure why that was done. In regards to the missing items -- For almost two weeks, Brian worked with me to find them and most could not be found. He did replace everything that he could but it took almost 2 weeks for this to happen. Bottom line -- I would recommend them for the work. However, I would recommend removing EVERYTHING!! of value from your vehicle, something I've never had to do before when having a vehicle worked on. That was extremely frustrating.

My daughter loved the work done on her 2010 Honda Civic. Gary took out some dents, polished the headlights, painted the entire car and added pinstripes. The work is high quality, reasonably priced and was completed head of schedule.
