Major League Tire and Service Introduce

Located at 620 Tuscarawas St W in Canton, Ohio, Major League Tire and Service operates within the "Auto Repair Stations" platform category, offering a range of automotive services, primarily focusing on tires and general vehicle maintenance. Based on recent customer reviews, this establishment appears to be in a state of transition, with notable changes in pricing and some concerns raised regarding the accuracy of diagnoses. While the previous management was praised for its affordable prices and excellent customer service, recent feedback suggests a shift that local users should be aware of when considering this service center.

Information regarding the specific environment of Major League Tire and Service is not detailed in the provided reviews. However, it can be inferred that it is a standard auto service shop equipped to handle tire-related services such as tire changes, repairs, and alignments, as well as general maintenance like oil changes. The mention of an alignment service and the inspection of ball joints suggests the presence of necessary equipment for these tasks. The positive remarks about the previous customer service indicate a potentially welcoming and efficient operational setting, although the recent review points to internal changes that might be affecting this aspect.

The services offered at Major League Tire and Service likely encompass a range of common auto repair and maintenance tasks. Given the name, tire services are probably a core offering, including tire sales, installation, balancing, and repairs. The customer reviews mention oil changes and wheel alignments, indicating that these services are also provided. Furthermore, the inspection of ball joints suggests that they handle other undercarriage and suspension-related issues. As a general "Auto Repair Station," they may also offer services such as brake repairs, battery replacements, and other routine maintenance to keep vehicles in good working order. However, the recent negative review concerning a potentially inaccurate diagnosis of ball joint issues raises questions about the reliability of certain diagnostic services.

The features of Major League Tire and Service, as perceived by customers, present a mixed picture due to the recent changes. Previously, a significant feature was their competitive pricing, with one reviewer noting that their oil changes used to be "some of cheapest you can find." This affordability, coupled with "fantastic" customer service and correctly performed work, made them a preferred choice for some local users. The mention of a staff member, Nathan, being "respectful and helpful" indicates that positive customer service may still be a feature under the new management. However, a significant negative feature that has emerged is a substantial increase in prices, with the same standard oil change reportedly rising from under $40 to $75. This drastic price hike has led to concerns about greed and a potential loss of loyal customers.

Another concerning feature highlighted in a recent review is a potential issue with diagnostic accuracy. A customer who came in for an alignment was informed that both front lower ball joints were loose, one of which was only two days old. Seeking a second opinion at another shop ("Mr. Tire"), they were told the ball joints were fine, and the alignment was successfully performed. This discrepancy raises serious questions about the trustworthiness of the diagnoses provided by Major League Tire and Service under its current management.

Currently, there is no information available regarding any promotional offers at Major League Tire and Service. Given the recent changes and the negative feedback regarding price increases, it is unclear if they are currently focusing on customer retention through promotions. Local users interested in potential discounts or special offers should contact the service center directly at (234) 214-8343 or their mobile number +1 234-214-8343 to inquire about any current deals. However, based on the recent reviews, price competitiveness may no longer be a primary feature.

In conclusion, Major League Tire and Service in Canton, OH, is an "Auto Repair Station" that has undergone recent changes, reportedly including new management. While it was previously known for its affordable prices and excellent customer service, recent reviews indicate a significant increase in pricing for services like oil changes. Additionally, a concerning report regarding a potentially inaccurate diagnosis of ball joint issues has surfaced, raising questions about the current reliability of their diagnostic services. While some aspects of customer service, as exemplified by the staff member Nathan, may still be positive, local users should be aware of the reported price increases and potential concerns regarding diagnostic accuracy when considering Major League Tire and Service for their automotive needs. It would be prudent to seek transparent pricing and potentially a second opinion on significant repairs before proceeding with this service center under its current operational status.

Major League Tire and Service Customer Reviews

This location I've been going to for a while now and the prices used to be some of cheapest you can find. An oil change used to run me at most $40 now they are under new management or something and the prices soared. Got the same standard oil change and it costs $75. For that price you could go to Valvoline. I enjoyed the people there and the customer service was fantastic, job was done correctly and I've had no issues. The greed deters me, you just bought the place why not try to keep the customers you have instead of driving them away with outrageous prices. People have mouths to feed, bills to pay, all while everything costs so much already and the company decides to charge at completely unjustifiable price. Props to Nathan for being respectful and helpful, but if prices don't come down I'll have to take my business elsewhere.

Came for an alignment and was told both front lower ball joints were loose. One was two days old. Took it to Mr. Tire and they said it was fine and did the alignment. Don't trust this shop.

I've taken my car to these guys for years. You can tell they truly care about your experience with them. While some mechanics try to rip into your wallet these guys have always worked with me to find the most affordable action for what's needed. They're great! I will be going to them for years to come.

Mike and Matt are wonderful to work with. They are reasonable in cost and thorough. They don’t try to sell the highest priced tires and only recommend the service that is needed. I have dealt with Mike for years and he has always been this way. Glad he is back in action.

My wife, my son, my parents, and I....actually most people I know driving and maintaining an automobile USED to come to this location at least twice a year for alignments. The business that WAS at this location did an excellent job, so good of a job they would warranty their work for 6 months. The business that is currently at this location apparently doesn't have faith that the job a customer pays for here is good enough to warranty....so i know at least 11 people that will never return here.
