Main Street Tire

RUDE!! Terrible customer service!! I will not go back!! I’ve been here several times to get used tires, and even new tires. They do have good prices if you’re in the market for a cheap set of used tires. However, in my numerous times being there getting tires on several of our vehicles, the man working there is quite rude, impatient, and severely lacks quality customer service skills. Even though their hours are clearly posted, don’t bother showing up 30-45 minutes before closing because he tried turning me away several times. He also often will close the gate on Main Street to discourage customers from entering. He’s always in a hurry to leave promptly when they close, and IMHO that is not good business. If you ask him questions about tires or want to look at them he lacks tactfulness and always just seems irritated like you’re bothering him or something. I gave him the benefit of the doubt a couple of times… everyone has a bad day now and again, but this has happened time and time again. I even have heard from others in our family that have gone there and he’s treated them with the same contempt. I normally like to support local small business owners rather than larger corporate entities, but in this case I will take my business elsewhere and will not be back.

I’m a loyal customer for at least the last 10 years when I moved to Anderson. This business is honest & have employees with great attitudes. I 100% recommend you call or go by to see them for any tire related issues. They are fast, prices just can’t be beat & it’s a good situation when the employees are focused & work quickly & efficiently to get the work done. I don’t think twice when I need the services they offer. Make sure to visit & support a local business.

Phoned to ask if they had a tire for my car. They had it there in less than an hour. The staff was knowledgeable, and nice. The tire was changed and we also changed the driver front tire,for safety reasons. I would go there again.

What a great place for used tires! Their website has a place to message them, which is a good thing, because when you are busy garage the last thing you’ll be doing is answering a ringing phone! I sent text with info on what I was looking for and before I could call the next place, David messaged me back with a great deal. He was professional(refreshing as a woman who’s had plenty of “not so professional encounters with mechanics) , quick and so far, honest. Their price couldn’t be beat by anyone in town. I didn’t have to get out of my vehicle! Id definitely recommend Main Street Tire!
