Mike's knowledge and experience saved my car. Prior to M&O, a different transmission shop could not figure out what was wrong. My gears were not shifting properly and I could not drive above 35 mph. It ended up being a communication error with the back wheels and engine. Mike explained that he worked on the same make and model not long ago with a similar issue and knew how to fix it. I thought my car with 178k miles was a goner, but I was wrong. Highly recommend this shop!

The transmission in my 180,000-mile vehicle recently failed unexpectedly. I took the car to Mike who offered a variety of repair options, ranging from a factory rebuilt unit to a used transmission. I went with the most economical option (used) and Mike installed the component in a reasonable amount of time at a competitive price. As mentioned by others, his honesty is unmatched in the auto-repair field. I highly recommend this establishment!

Honestly… These guys are AWESOME. That is not easy for me to say for the fact that I’m a perfectionist and as a result my standards are very high. First, these guys have a true mastery of their craft. Rebuilding a transmission is not easy task not only for the reason they are complex BUT there are many different types. Yes, I said rebuild NOT slap a re-manufactured trans with an unknown origin rebuild by low cost labor. Secondly, they are not shy about making sure you are informed during the process and are happy to answer your questions even if they are long-winded and obscure from a gear-head like me. Finally, they are priced fair for the quality of work they do. Use them, you will glad you did.
