LKQ Refinish - Phoenix Introduce

Located at 5670 S 32nd St, Phoenix, AZ 85040, USA, LKQ Refinish - Phoenix is a specialized retail and distribution center focusing on automotive paint, coatings, and related body repair materials. While the initial prompt categorized it as a "home goods store," the provided information and customer reviews clearly indicate its role within the Auto Repair Stations platform category, providing essential goods and services for vehicle refinishing and collision repair. They can be reached via phone at (602) 455-0090 or +1 602-455-0090, serving a crucial segment of the automotive industry in Phoenix.

The environment of LKQ Refinish - Phoenix is best described as a professional supply house. Given its specialization in automotive paint and body equipment (PBE), the facility likely features a well-organized layout for storing various paint products, mixing systems, abrasives, fillers, tools, and safety equipment. The atmosphere would be geared towards efficiency, catering to professional body shops and paint technicians who require quick access to a wide array of specialized products. While a comfortable waiting area might not be the primary focus, the emphasis would be on knowledgeable staff ready to assist with product selection and color matching.

The services offered by LKQ Refinish - Phoenix are highly specialized, focusing on the needs of automotive refinishing. Their core service is the provision of automotive paint and paint-related supplies. This includes a vast selection of automotive paint, from basecoats and clearcoats to primers and activators. They also supply essential consumables like spray guns, abrasives, fillers, masking materials, shop supplies, and detailing products. The reviews highlight their capability in color matching, although one review points to a less-than-ideal experience in this regard. Beyond just selling products, they aim to be a comprehensive resource, offering products from trusted brands such as 3M, Evercoat, Norton, and their own Smart brand items, among others. As a subsidiary of LKQ, they also have access to a broader inventory, including recycled OEM and remanufactured auto parts, engines, and transmissions, which can be a significant advantage for customers needing a wider range of repair components.

Key features of LKQ Refinish - Phoenix include their specialized inventory and the knowledge of their staff. One positive review explicitly states, "The guys there are great, friendly and very knowledgeable. Good prices." This suggests that customers can expect to interact with staff who understand the intricacies of automotive paint and body repair, capable of guiding them to the right products for their specific needs. The mention of "Smart brand items" and the specific praise for its sandpaper being "better and cheaper than 3M" points to their offering of high-quality, potentially more cost-effective alternatives. This commitment to offering competitive products, including their own private label, is a significant feature for businesses looking to manage costs without compromising quality. The ability to mix custom paint colors is also a critical feature for any refinish supplier, allowing for seamless repairs and professional results.

However, an objective introduction also requires acknowledging areas for improvement, as illuminated by one of the detailed customer reviews. This review highlights a notable instance of customer dissatisfaction, particularly concerning paint color matching and customer service responsiveness. The customer experienced issues with an employee being unwilling to continue trying to mix paint to achieve the desired match, citing concerns about "going out of business" by mixing more. The refusal to use a color camera for matching and the eventual refund decision, instead of attempting to satisfy the customer's need for an accurate color, points to potential inconsistencies in their service delivery and commitment to customer satisfaction in challenging situations. This suggests that while their staff may be knowledgeable in general, there might be limitations or varying levels of willingness to go the extra mile for complex requests. This experience underscores the importance of clear communication and perhaps a more flexible approach to ensuring customer satisfaction, especially when dealing with nuanced services like custom paint mixing.

In terms of promotional information, LKQ Refinish - Phoenix likely promotes itself as a reliable and knowledgeable supplier for all automotive paint and body repair needs. Their "go-to paint store for work" reputation, as indicated by a satisfied customer, speaks volumes about their reliability for professional users. They would likely highlight their extensive range of products, including their popular Smart brand, and their ability to provide solutions that are both high-quality and cost-effective. For businesses, they might emphasize their ability to streamline the procurement process for refinishing materials, offering competitive pricing and a broad selection to minimize downtime. The positive feedback about "good prices" would undoubtedly be a key message in their marketing efforts, appealing to both independent mechanics and larger auto body shops looking to manage their expenses effectively.

Overall, LKQ Refinish - Phoenix serves as a crucial resource for the automotive repair industry in Phoenix. While it operates within the broader "Auto Repair Stations" category, its specific focus is on providing high-quality automotive paint, coatings, and related body repair supplies. Its strengths lie in its specialized inventory, the general knowledge of its staff, and the provision of competitive products like their Smart brand. However, as with any business, customer experiences can vary, and a commitment to consistently excellent service, especially in complex situations like custom paint matching, remains vital for continuous customer satisfaction and loyalty. For local users, particularly auto body professionals and serious DIY enthusiasts, LKQ Refinish - Phoenix offers a comprehensive selection of materials necessary for vehicle refinishing and collision repair projects.

LKQ Refinish - Phoenix Customer Reviews

Times passed now after this pleasant experience (Not that pleasant). So basically this employee went on to say that he could make this paint work if it was him painting , didn’t want to keep trying “cause they’ll go out of business”by mixing another half pint, did want to use the color camera, continued on trying to push this paint on me. After the back and forth this guy mentioned it to the manager and he agreed! To refund cause they didn’t wanna try. I understand it’s not going to be perfect but cmon!Overall very disappointed like my guy below. Big waist of time!

This is my go-to paint store for work. The guys there are great, friendly and very knowledgeable. Good prices. I'm a huge fan of their Smart brand items, the sandpaper is better and cheaper than 3m.

I called this facility on the phone and discussed my potential purchase of paint. The counterman would not even attempt to check my paint chip against his spectrometer. It was a very frustrating experience as I drove 100 miles to be disappointed. While I was there it seems like anyone who called on the phone was free to use as much time as they wanted to discuss anything they wanted while he made me wait. I would never go to Finishmaster again for anything

This store is really good. They are fast and responsive to any issues I have. 5 stars.

Worst customer service I’ve seen in a while, stood there for 30 minutes while Brian attended his computer. I thought they were there to help customers with the paint needs but guess not
