They don't answer the phone. I drove an hour and a half to get there. They have a sign that says you can't come there to get parts. Total waste of time. If you would have answered the phone, I would have known you customers cannot shop in person

Joke of a company. Had to call 3 times to get someone to answer and then wait for 30 mins on hold and get transferred to 4 different people because nobody there knows what they’re doing. All I wanted was a hood I know they had, shouldn’t take over an hour to purchase a part. Last time I’m dealing with them.

Went to LKQ at 4:50 pm. They close at 5. I knew it would be a long shot to buy an alternator 10 minutes to close... But.. Literally the only parts store still closed to customers for covid. So you have to call 800 number on the door to order your part. A man walked out who obviously worked there and I give him credit he went back inside to see if the guy working could help me... And he came back a few seconds later and said he couldn't find him . Call the 800 number. No one answered... On hold past 5... So I gave up and left. Today I called , and they have prompts.. business press 1, insurance company press 2, Regular Joe's looking for a part press 3. I'm beginning to think they never answer that one. Because after being on hold waiting for 20 minutes I gave up and just drove to Metro in Valpo. There I was meet by friendly staff , and helped instantly. So the drive is annoying but the customer service is worth it. LKQ will never get my business. They obviously don't need it.
