Environment and Accessibility

While specific details about the interior aesthetics of the Les Schwab Tire Center in Rialto are not extensively detailed, the general impression gleaned from customer feedback suggests a standard auto service center environment. Customers typically interact with staff in a lobby area, which allows for visibility into the service bays or work area. The location on W San Bernardino Ave implies easy access for residents of Rialto and surrounding areas. As with most auto service centers, the environment is functional and designed to facilitate efficient vehicle intake and service, often including a waiting area for customers.

Comprehensive Services Offered

Les Schwab Tire Center, true to its name as an ‘Auto Repair Station,’ offers a range of services beyond just tire sales and installations. A common service highlighted by customers is oil changes. This is a fundamental maintenance task crucial for vehicle longevity, and the center aims to provide this service efficiently. Additionally, the facility handles tire swaps, which could encompass seasonal tire changes, rotations, or replacement of worn tires. Beyond these specific mentions, a general ‘auto repair’ umbrella suggests the capability to address various other vehicle maintenance and repair needs. The presence of a strong warranty program, as attested by a customer, indicates a commitment to the quality and longevity of their services and products. This warranty can be a significant draw for customers seeking peace of mind regarding their automotive investments.

Key Features and Customer Experience

One of the recurring themes in customer feedback is the perceived speed of service, particularly for routine tasks like oil changes. Some customers have expressed satisfaction with getting a "fast and smooth oil change." The staff, including individuals like Eric and Brandon, have been described as "very informative and kind," contributing to a "pretty welcoming" atmosphere. This emphasis on customer education and a friendly approach can significantly enhance the overall service experience, helping customers understand their vehicle's needs and the services being performed. The aforementioned outstanding warranty is another significant feature, offering value and assurance to patrons.

However, customer experiences can vary, as highlighted by a particular incident. A notable concern raised by a customer involved a perceived lack of diligence or willingness to perform a service close to closing time. This experience, involving a delayed greeting, hesitation regarding service availability, and a subsequent call about a missing filter, suggests that operational efficiency or commitment to service might be impacted by factors such as proximity to closing hours. While such instances can be isolated, they underscore the importance of consistent service delivery throughout operating hours. This particular review also suggests that despite being "pricier than Walmart across the street," customers have historically chosen Les Schwab for its service quality, indicating a general positive perception that can be impacted by individual experiences.

Promotional Information and Value Proposition

While explicit promotional advertisements are not provided in the given information, the implicit value proposition of Les Schwab Tire Center can be inferred. The mention of being "pricier than Walmart across the street" but still chosen by customers suggests that the center aims to differentiate itself through quality of service, speed, and a robust warranty program. These aspects, particularly the "outstanding" warranty, serve as key selling points that attract and retain customers. For local users, the convenience of a dedicated auto repair station that offers comprehensive tire services and general maintenance, backed by a strong warranty, represents a significant advantage. The positive interactions with informed and kind staff members also contribute to a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business.

In summary, Les Schwab Tire Center in Rialto positions itself as a reliable ‘Auto Repair Station’ offering essential vehicle maintenance services, with a strong focus on tires. Despite occasional service inconsistencies, the center’s commitment to providing informative staff, a welcoming atmosphere, and a noteworthy warranty program aims to deliver a valuable automotive service experience to the local community.

Les Schwab Tire Center Customer Reviews

I normally like to come here even tho it’s a lot pricier than Walmart across the street and I always get a fast and smooth oil change and never have a bad experience I moved to another city but I came today because I was in the area and again I like coming here but as of today I will not be coming again Alex is the one that greeted me after waiting in the lobby a couple of minutes where he and his colleagues can clearly see me through the lobby window. He came in stating he didn’t see me then asked what I needed and I said I wanted to do an oil change and he hesitated and asked if I wanted it today so I said yes and again hesitated and said ok well get it done then I asked if he knew about how long it would take and he said well we close at 6 so I’ll have to get it done before that and it’s 5:40/5:44 so it’ll be fast (kind of worried me hoping they will still do a good job) I walked to Walmart and then I get a call at 6 from Alex and he stated that unfortunately they didn’t have the filter they needed to do an oil change for my car and that luckily they hadn’t started on it so if I can pick it up. To sum it up I strongly feel that they wanted to leave already so came up with that excuse and then as I was getting to the location he was outside talking to another customer I’m assuming and I asked if my keys were inside and he said yes I’ll be in right now and then said you know what they are I too of the counter you won’t miss them you can get them. I had e never experienced anything like this from this location. Not sure if they aren’t allowed to do overtime or just simply wanted to clock out but definitely lost $100 for the day

I just want to say that I am pleased with the service that this location gives me, they’re very informative and kind I’ve been going here for the past two years now for repairs and a tire swap and I must say that the warranty this place has is really outstanding. Eric and Brandon have very informative and helpful but so does the rest of the staff there it’s pretty welcoming.

I bought very expensive tires with rims I was happy about how they looked, but on 2 different occasions when I would take my truck to get serviced, I noticed fat screws puncturing my brand new expensive tires, screws that were laying around the ground of leschwab shop. I asked to speak to the manager and I told him that my tires were brand new and they punctured my tires cause they have screws on the floor and that I didn't just want them patched I wanted new ones , both times they only offered to patch them. Not cool. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Also took my wife's Honda to get an alignment and withing 2 weeks the car was unaligned and they blamed my wife for it they said she was just a bad driver.

Had them fix a tire with a nail in it. Tipped them, even though it is offered as a free service. When we asked them to reset then tire light, they told us all the sensors were bad and it would cost $200+. I really like Les Schwab due to their excellent customer service, but the Rialto location is shady... be careful/ watch out. We got the sensor light off at a different location no problem at no cost.

I've been driving for 35 years. And 75% of all my tires and brakes have been done by Les Scwabb. 7 maybe 8 locations between Southern Oregon and Southern California. Once had a warranty replacement in Idaho. This location has convinced me I (they) have no need for my loyalty. Had brakes done about 3 years ago. Special ordered drilled and slotted. Brakes worked great. Yet for some reason my parking brake wasn't adjusted. Every brake service i have ever had included parking brake adjustment. Parking brake when engaged did not hold my truck in place as it did on every other vehicle prior. Had tires installed on my wife's Crosstek. Though I paid for an alignment with the mount and balance the front end was far from aligned. The print out I was presented was all red when it should have been green. I asked about having the camber bolt replaced to allow for more adjustment and was told they don't do that. I offered to buy the bolts and was told they won't install customer purchased parts. Then why charge me for an alignment that will surely void the tire warranty? In November with winter approaching I needss new tires and a suspension upgrade for my truck I called to have them order the suspension I wanted. Was told the suspension I wanted wasn't available. I found the suspension from 2 companies. One in Southern California and another in Texas. Both could have everything sent over night. Told them about the companies. I suggested I buy the suspension and have it shipped to the store. Nope. Won't install customer purchased parts. Could it be they cant mark-up the price? Probably since they tried to sell me even more expensive suspension. Was assured they would check into the 2 companies I mentioned. Been close to 3 months and still waiting on a return call. Having given up on Les Scwabb I contacted 4wheelparts. Not a problem. They are sourcing everything I have asked for. The Crosstek will have the needed upgrade to the camber bolt, new tires and a proper alignment. My truck will have the suspension I wanted as well. Pretty disappointed as Les Schwabb began servicing rural customers from their first day of operation. Living in the mountains I wanted to support a company that started by providing services for rural areas. No longer the company that I have always been able to depend on. Leslie would be turning over in his grave.
