I’d like to share my experience working with a tuner named Kyle LeBlanc KYLETUNEDIT, in case anyone is considering using his services. In December 2024, I paid Kyle for: Custom ECU & TCU tuning for Audi RSQ8 — $2,500 Flashing Unlock Service — $1,500 Refundable deposit for flashing cable — $1,000 Methanol Injection Kit — $1,899 After I paid, I quickly noticed that Kyle was extremely slow in replying — often taking a week or more to respond. He claimed to be busy, which I tried to understand, but at some point communication frequency dropped to once per week, which was no longer acceptable for a service at this level. After months of back and forth, I finally completed installing the methanol injection system and booked a dyno session so he could do remote tuning. However, Kyle was unable to complete the tuning. After spending the whole day at the dyno, the ECU calibration still had serious misfire issues under full throttle. He said he would follow up, but at that point, I had lost confidence and patience. The TCU unlocking failed completely. Kyle sent me an OBD cable to flash the TCU remotely, but it never worked, and no usable TCU solution was delivered. He agreed that I could return the cable for a $1,000 refund, but this was never processed. I later contacted PayPal to request a partial refund of USD 5,500, which included: ECU/TCU tuning: $2,500 Flashing unlock service: $1,500 Refundable cable deposit: $1,000 (Excluding the meth kit, which I did install) Before doing so, I tried multiple times to reach Kyle via email and WhatsApp, but he never responded and never issued the refund. His lack of communication forced me to seek help from PayPal. Unfortunately, PayPal denied the dispute — though to be honest, I’m not sure why Kyle was able to win the claim. Out of everything I paid for, the methanol injection kit was the only item that was actually delivered and installed. The rest of the services were either incomplete or completely failed. I’m sharing this not out of spite, but so others can make informed decisions before sending large sums of money for remote tuning — especially to someone like Kyle.
