Krazy Kustoms Introduce

For local users in Rock Hill, South Carolina, seeking specialized automotive customization and repair, Krazy Kustoms is a business operating within the "Auto Repair Stations" category. Located at 908 Albright Rd, Rock Hill, SC 29730, this establishment aims to provide various modifications and services for vehicles. You can attempt to contact them at (803) 325-1879 or +1 803-325-1879. However, based on the customer reviews available, potential clients should approach with significant caution and be aware of reported concerns.

Environment and Operational Practices

The operational environment at Krazy Kustoms, as indicated by customer experiences, appears to be focused on vehicle customization and repair, particularly concerning wheels, tires, and suspension modifications (like lift kits). However, the customer feedback raises serious questions about the professional standards and integrity of their practices. Reports of vehicles being returned with problems like "bent wheels," "loose bolts," and "tires leaning" suggest issues with the quality control and precision of their work. The owner's alleged untruthfulness about services performed and equipment availability (e.g., a tire balancing machine) points to a concerning lack of transparency and honesty within their operational environment. This type of feedback suggests that the environment, while intended for automotive work, may not consistently adhere to industry best practices or ethical conduct.

Services and Goods Offered (Based on Customer Accounts)

Based on the provided customer reviews, Krazy Kustoms offers services and deals with "goods" primarily related to vehicle customization and basic tire service. Their reported offerings include:

  • Tire Services: This includes changing tires. However, a significant concern is raised about the proper execution, with a report of a "bent wheel while changing my tire" and allegations of dishonesty regarding balancing services.
  • Wheel Services: Directly related to tire changes, they would handle the mounting and dismounting of wheels. The customer complaint about a bent wheel is a critical red flag regarding the care taken during these services.
  • Custom Vehicle Modifications (Lift Kits): One customer specifically mentions taking their "dodge magnum to this shop to get it lifted for 30 inch rims." This indicates their purported capability in installing lift kits and performing modifications necessary for larger wheels and tires. This is a specialized service requiring precise alignment and suspension work.

The "goods" they would theoretically "sell" or install would be tires, wheels, and components for lift kits (e.g., suspension components, spacers, larger bolts). However, the reviews suggest that the quality of these installations and the handling of the associated parts may be severely lacking.

Reported Features and Customer Experience Issues

The customer reviews for Krazy Kustoms highlight several critical features and, more prominently, significant issues with their service and professionalism:

  • Allegations of Dishonesty and Lying: This is the most serious and recurring issue. Customers explicitly state that "The owner lied about services he did" and "He also lied about balancing." This directly impacts trust and credibility.
  • Lack of Receipts/Documentation: The refusal to provide receipts is a major red flag, preventing customers from having proof of service or warranty information, which is highly unprofessional and often illegal.
  • Substandard Workmanship: Examples like a "bent wheel," "loose bolts," and "tires were leaning" after multiple attempts to fix the issue on a lift kit installation indicate a severe lack of quality control and mechanical competency. The fact that a customer had to find a "legit shop to redo everything" underscores the poor quality of the initial work.
  • Lack of Proper Equipment: The revelation from an employee that the owner "doesn't even have the machine to balance my wheel which takes a force balance" is extremely concerning, as it means services were potentially promised and charged for, but not properly performed or even performable by the shop.
  • Poor Communication and Accountability: Despite repeated attempts to fix issues (up to "6th time going back"), the response was often to "bring it back," with no apparent resolution or accountability for the ongoing problems. The customer's frustration with towing the vehicle "1.5 hour one way" multiple times highlights extreme inconvenience and a lack of effective problem-solving from the shop.
  • Customer Dissatisfaction and Waste of Time/Money: Both reviews unequivocally state that the experience was a "waste of my time" and resulted in being "out my money" for work that ultimately needed to be redone elsewhere.

Promotional Information and Public Perception

Based purely on the provided customer reviews, the promotional information for Krazy Kustoms is severely undermined by negative experiences. While a business typically aims to promote its expertise in customization and repair, these reviews instead serve as a stark warning to potential clients. The phrase "Never going back!" and "don't waste your time" are direct deterrents. For local users in Rock Hill, SC, the public perception, as reflected in these accounts, suggests that Krazy Kustoms is a business to approach with extreme caution, or even avoid, given the severe allegations of dishonesty, poor workmanship, and lack of accountability. Instead of showcasing quality services, the available information paints a picture of a business that has significantly failed to meet customer expectations and ethical standards in automotive repair and customization.

Krazy Kustoms Customer Reviews

Never going back! The owner lied about services he did to my vehicle Would not give me any receipts and they bent my wheel while changing my tire. He also lied about balancing. Found out from one of his employees that he doesn't even have the machine to balance my wheel which takes a force balance.

I took my dodge magnum to this shop to get it lifted for 30 inch rims. And it still wasn't right after the 6th time going back to this shop. Bolt were loose, tires were leaning. And more .I call him and his response was bring it back after the 6th time towing it 1.5 hour one way I quit going there. They got me out my money, but had to find legit shop to redo everything. I don't like to do the reviews but this shop was a waste of my time, don't waste your time. I even took video and pictures every time i gone to pick up my car. 👎🏿👎🏿👎🏿

This was a great experience. The guy that helped me pick out the rims was very helpful and he made sure I was happy with the pick. He also called to let me know he had the rims and tires ready. If you looking for a place to look for rims their prices are reasonable and they pride themselves on making sure you are good before you leave.

If you have a cracked wheel, do not allow them to touch it. They fill the crack with JB weld, and it's leaking again within a week. You will end up sending it to someone who will actually weld the wheel, and it will cost you even more money because they will have to clean all the jb weld off it.
