I use my Honda to commute up and down the peninsula everyday to the point it was making some very scary noises. Being without a car for an extended period of time was a nonstarter for me. Mr. Kim sorted out my brakes, spark plugs and engine within six hours of dropping it off that same morning. He saved me a great deal of stress and anxiety. I cannot recommend him enough!

THE best mechanic I have ever had. Recently moved to San Jose and needed work done on my SUV. Researched like crazy and asked around, online someone mentioned Mr. Kim KL Test & Repair. I am so glad I listened. Not only was he incredibly fast, considerate and very affordable but the day I had to pick up my car they were closed. I called him and he rushed down. It was raining and he showed up in soaked clothes because they had a roof leak! I tried to tell him we could have rescheduled for such an emergency and he said “No! You are more important, customer is most important!” I was floored. What service!

Kim is a great mechanic, and I always feel like I'm getting an honest evaluation of what's wrong with my car and how much it will cost. My family and I have been bringing our vehicles here for the past few years, and he's done a great job with all of them. Highly recommended!

Kim Le is a really good mechanic. Rare breed of honest and good customer service is his hallmark. I've been going to him for 10+ years (including when he worked at a different place before KL auto repair started). He will not charge you for any unnecessary items or try to up-sell you. They will work on any car. They can also have smog check at lowest prices around.

I have been coming to KL Test & Repairs since moving to the neighborhood 6+ years ago. During each visit my car is taken care of and everything has been explained to me in detail, which I appreciate. I highly recommend KL Test & Repair--they are honest, knowledgable, affordable, and have great customer service!
