Scammers! Slimy, typical car dealers/servicers trying to squeeze any bit of unnecessary money out of you. I have 20k-mile NEW vehicle and was scammed via their inspection app & their "service specialists". The app send you what looks & sounds identical to a multi-vehicle inspection report - with red, yellow, green recommendations/passes/fails. I was recommended in BOLD RED that my car was "FAILING" and needed "IMMEDIATE ATTENTION" on 3 things. As a car owner for over 25 years you always do the red, especially when such strong language is used. So on a vehicle that's under warranty & brand new, I stupidly trusted & approved it. When I went in to pick up my car and asked my "service specialist" Vanessa Wood if those were in fact required, she said, "oh no, those are just nice to have and will improve vehicle performance." So they were unnecessary and labeled wrong to trick the consumer into paying more. Then after she rings me up with a minimal discount for their lies, she then shows me the REAL multi-vehicle inspection report that has GREEN marks across all points. I spoke with John, their service Manager, who said he would follow up with me about their deceiving app & service, and was never called back. Jokes on you. With 20k miles and many services to go, that extra money you stole from me will be your last. I intend to take my business elsewhere and be sure to continue telling everyone about my deceitful experience at Kearny Mesa Kia. Shame on you!

I stood around for my appointment for 30 minutes while everyone else came and went. I eventually just left.. and was late to work. Sean was supposed to provide service, but I never saw him. Aside from that, I brought it in for a recall issue a few months prior and had it fixed. When I booked the appointment it said I had to do that same recall. If you have all day and nothing to do, then go here. If you don't, avoid.

If i could give zero stars i would. We bought a Kia EV6 at this dealership and it was a good experience, but when it comes to servicing and multiple recalls they fail miserably. From the day i drove it off the lot, there was a vibration while on the highway at various speeds. Thought it might be the wheels out of balance or the front end out of alignment. At about 2000 miles I took it in. The Service Advisor, Bryan said it was likely the wheels out of balance. He charged me over a $100 for the repair even though it should be covered under warranty. I paid it and drove off. The problem persisted. The console would shake as well from the vibration. Brought it back a couple months later. The previous service advisor no longer worked there. They assigned a new one, Michael DeLozier. He said they would rebalance the tires and do a front end alignment. I was told they needed the car overnight and that someone was going to do a test drive. I got a call from Michael on Tuesday that the technician determined that the tires were out of balance but during the balancing process all four wheels were scratched up and that they needed the car another day to repair the wheels. He said there was someone who could repair the damaged wheels. Wednesday about 3 p.m. I got a call from Michael indicating the car was finished and ready for pick up. I expressed my concern about the wheel repairs not being to factory standards. Michael assured me the wheels were fine. I was charged for a front end alignment, about $140! I left the dealership and the vibration issue seemed to be resolved, but that was short lived. I noticed the steering wheel is no longer centered like it was before I brought it in. When driving straight ahead, the steering wheel is tilted slightly to the right. If you hold the steering wheel level, the car veers to the left. I called Michael and he said the technician didn’t do anything that would cause this. I suggested from my previous experience as an auto/diesel technician that it appeared to me that the front end might have been realigned. If the alignment was out, that would also cause the vibration reported. He said highway 163 has a tilt to it and to take it down highway 15. I drove up and down 15, 163 and highway 8, plus several local streets. The issue remains with the steering wheel being off center and the vibration returned. Made another appointment. Jose greeted me and said the issues were escalated to him. He said there was foam inside the Continental tires that are likely causing the vibration problem. He said the foam can come off inside the tires and cause the vibration I’ve been complaining about since last May 2024. It was certainly news to me. Foam glued inside the tires. Jose said he could have it removed, rebalance the tires/wheels, and do an ALL wheel alignment (front and rear) that would also fix the steering being off center. Jose said he would need the car overnight. The next day afternoon I picked up the car. Before leaving the lot I inspected the car. All of the wheels were again damaged, scratched up in the process of tire removal and wheel balancing. I walked back inside and informed Juan (service advisor) who was now handling my ticket. He came out and said he would contact me and schedule a time for the wheels to be repaired. This is the 2nd time for wheel repairs. I called Continental Tires and asked about the foam. They said the dealership should not of removed the foam from all the tires. It’s there to make the ride quieter and smoother. If one tires foam was coming off inside, that would cause the vibration and the tire should have been replaced for free under warranty. I was charged for wheel balancing, front end alignment and now have tires without foam and it’s noticeably more road noise on the freeway especially. The dealership removed a feature and now the tire warranty is voided. I’ve emailed the general manager, service manager, service advisors, and no reply. Don’t even bother calling their service department as its non existent. I am not taking my car here for any service if they can’t answer calls other than making appointments. What good is making an appointment if the service advisor only sees you in person on the day of your appointment to discuss anything at all?
