Junior's Auto Tech Customer Reviews

I wish I could give 0 stars but can’t. They have nasty attitudes and funny to say it was my first time there. They do not attend to their customers. They don’t follow their scheduled hours and become rude about it and tell you to come back another day if you want too. (Open invitation to look somewhere else- And sooooo GLAD I did. Found a respectful & knowledgeable mechanic elsewhere). The workers at this place were dismissive and do not care about potential customers at all. Very bad experience. Call before you go if you want to try your luck.

Horrible. Charged me for nothing. I told him I knew what the issue was I just wanted him to tell me what the cost would be to fix it. He said I gatta leave the vehicle. Next I gatta pay 90 for what ? No work was done.

I want to give an honest review of this place. Junior (Shop owner) seems like a very honest person upon initially speaking to. I informed him I have a complete timing belt/waterpump kit that I needed installed. He quoted me a very fair price compared to the rest of other shops. When I bring my car in, right away he tells me that he didn't know the kit comes with seals & that if I wanted them installed he will have to charge me extra. No problem, I agree but in my opinion I would think if it's a KIT, you should know the parts that are in it. That's like going to Burger King and asking for the #5 MEAL and they ask you, "would you like fries with that?" that's extra. Right away, I felt like the victim of a bait and switch, now the so called fair price wasn't as fair. He then tells me the car should be ready the next day. Not only was my car NOT READY the next day, they hadn't even begun working on it because they were too "busy". Nothing worse than people who can't live up to their word. Fast forward 3 days later, My car is finally ready. I drive away, half hour later I get to my destination & decided to look under the hood because I was hearing a strange vibrating noise at every stop light. Once I parked, the noise was gone but there was coolant all over my engine bay. Luckily I noticed, but apparently Junior's nephew who worked on the car (Patrick) was very careless and left my coolant overflow hose rubbing up against my belt pulley. Had I driven further, the hose would have been completely severed in two. I went to the hardware store picked up some duct tape and a metal hose clamp to fix the issue & stop the coolant leak. Next day, I brought my car back to address the noise and of course Patrick is quick to dismiss he did nothing wrong. I described the noise and he said "oh your AC compressor might be bad". I told him my AC is working fine and why would the noise only happen when I have the brakes depressed. I did not even bother mentioning the coolant because I already notice how dismissive they are about taking accountability & luckily it was a quick fix and no major damage. 2nd day the noise comes back and luckily this time it was still there when I pull up into the shop. What was making the mysterious sound??? Patrick forgot or didn't tighten the top engine cover and it was making a shuttering noise when the brakes were engaged. One week after driving the car, I begin to notice my car occasionally misfiring and not starting on 1st attempts. I called and asked Junior which of my sensors he replaced, he said my "CAMSHAFT" sensor which by the way he charged me $120. I've changed this myself in the past and it's literally a 5 minute 10mm bolt to undo and reconnect the sensor. Anyway, my aggravation is not with price but Junior quickly dismissing that it has nothing to do with the timing belt or his shabby work. All I know is that the car NEVER had starting problems before the timing belt and now out of the blue, starting issues after replacing the timing belt and sensor. To sum up, the shop Owner Junior comes off as a decent honest person from the start but sad to say will not take any accountability for their incompetent work. AVOID this place at all cost. They will quote you a fair price but in the end will nickel and dime you for every little thing if you don't read the "fine print". My bill was more than double what they quoted when wall was said and done. This is probably the only HONEST review of the reviews here. I don't mind paying for service and justified labor at that, but this place will not honor any of their work once they've taken your money. BE WARNED.

Hopefully I won't need any more body and fender work on my car, but if I do I would definitely go here. My car looked so much better inside and out once he was done. Disregard post wrong juniors
