Julianos Truck Service Introduce

Julianos Truck Service, located at 911 Lively Blvd, Wood Dale, IL 60191, USA, operates within the "Auto Repair Stations" category, focusing on providing repair and maintenance services for trucks and commercial vehicles. As a point of interest for local users seeking truck service, it's crucial to consider the spectrum of experiences reported by previous customers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the potential service quality and reliability. The available reviews present a stark contrast in customer satisfaction, which necessitates a balanced and objective introduction to help local users make informed decisions.

Information regarding the physical environment of Julianos Truck Service is not detailed in the provided reviews. Typically, truck service centers are equipped with heavy-duty lifts, specialized tools, and diagnostic equipment necessary for handling the larger size and complex systems of commercial vehicles. The focus for such establishments is generally on functionality and the capacity to perform repairs efficiently. However, without specific descriptions from customers, it is challenging to provide an objective assessment of the shop's environment or amenities.

Reported Services at Julianos Truck Service

Based on the limited customer feedback, Julianos Truck Service appears to offer a range of repair and maintenance services for trucks. These can be inferred from the issues described by customers:

  • General Truck Repair: One customer mentioned bringing their truck in for repairs without a specific diagnosis, requesting the service center to "fix the truck" and "change everything needed." This suggests that Julianos Truck Service undertakes comprehensive truck repairs.
  • Engine Repair: The negative review details a significant engine repair, costing $8,000, which subsequently failed and required an additional $9,000 repair at a Volvo dealer. This indicates that engine work is among the services offered.
  • Belt Tightening: A positive review mentions a service call to fix an APU squeaky belt, which was successfully tightened.
  • Electrical Wiring Repair: During the belt tightening service, corroded wires to the alternator were discovered and replaced, indicating electrical system repairs are also within their capabilities.

While these points offer some insight into the services provided, the conflicting experiences highlight the importance of proceeding with caution and potentially seeking detailed information or quotes before entrusting Julianos Truck Service with significant repairs.

Features and Potential Concerns

The limited customer feedback reveals a mix of potential features and significant concerns regarding Julianos Truck Service:

  • Fast Service (Potentially): The positive review mentions "fast service" for a specific, relatively minor repair (belt tightening and wire replacement). However, this contrasts sharply with the negative review stating that they "take longer then they say" for more complex jobs.
  • Diagnostic Capabilities: The ability to identify corroded wires during a seemingly unrelated service call (belt tightening) suggests some level of diagnostic awareness. However, this is overshadowed by the alleged misdiagnosis or incomplete repair in the more extensive engine work.
  • Unprofessionalism and Unreliability (Reported): The negative review strongly alleges unprofessional and unreliable behavior, including ignoring phone calls, dropping calls, and fabricating information. These are serious concerns for any customer seeking dependable service.
  • Questionable Mechanical Expertise (Reported): The failure of an $8,000 repair, leading to a more expensive повторный ремонт at a different facility, raises significant doubts about the competence of the mechanics at Julianos Truck Service, according to one customer's experience.
  • Lack of Accountability (Alleged): The customer who experienced the failed engine repair claims that Julianos Truck Service did not want to take responsibility for the faulty work, leading to a total repair cost of $17,000 across two service centers.
  • Inconsistent Service Quality: The stark contrast between the two reviews suggests a potential inconsistency in the quality of service provided, possibly depending on the complexity of the job or the mechanic involved.

Promotional Information and Pricing Insights

There is no explicit promotional information available in the provided reviews. The only pricing detail comes from the positive review, which mentions a cost of $80 for tightening a belt and replacing corroded wires. This price seems reasonable for the services rendered in that specific instance. However, this single data point cannot be generalized to the cost of other, more complex repairs at Julianos Truck Service.

The negative review details an $8,000 initial repair cost followed by a $9,000 subsequent repair at a different facility for the same underlying issue. This suggests that while Julianos Truck Service may undertake significant and costly repairs, the quality and longevity of these repairs are highly questionable based on this particular customer's experience. Local users should be extremely cautious and potentially seek multiple quotes and verify credentials before committing to expensive repairs at this service center.

Contact and Location Reminder

Julianos Truck Service is located at 911 Lively Blvd, Wood Dale, IL 60191, USA. They can be contacted by phone at (630) 303-9101 or mobile phone at +1 630-303-9101. This contact information is provided for local users who may wish to inquire further about their services or seek clarification regarding the contrasting customer experiences. However, given the serious allegations in one of the reviews, it is strongly recommended to exercise due diligence before entrusting them with your truck repairs.

Conclusion: Proceed with Extreme Caution Regarding Julianos Truck Service

Julianos Truck Service is a point of interest for truck repairs in Wood Dale, IL, operating within the "Auto Repair Stations" category. However, the available customer feedback presents a deeply concerning picture of potential unreliability, unprofessionalism, and questionable repair quality, alongside one instance of fast and seemingly effective service for a minor issue.

Local users considering Julianos Truck Service for their commercial vehicle needs must weigh the severely negative experience of one customer against the positive, yet limited, feedback of another. The significant financial loss and subsequent repairs incurred by the dissatisfied customer serve as a stark warning. While the positive review indicates the potential for satisfactory service in some cases, the risk of encountering the issues described in the negative review appears substantial.

It is strongly recommended that local users thoroughly research alternative truck repair options in the Wood Dale area, seek multiple opinions and quotes for any necessary work, and carefully consider the potential risks associated with Julianos Truck Service based on the available, albeit limited and conflicting, customer feedback. Proceed with extreme caution and prioritize thorough vetting before entrusting your valuable commercial vehicle to this service center.

Julianos Truck Service Customer Reviews

GUYS DO NOT TAKE YOUR TRUCK IN FOR REPAIRS!!!!!!!! They are horrible, unprofessional, unreliable. At first they seem to be nice but when it comes to problems like I had they ignore phone calls, drop phone calls and make up stuff. Their mechanics don’t know what they are doing. I fixed my truck there, payed 8k and had to take it in to Volvo dealer after them only 2000 miles later and payed Volvo 9000 for the same repair just because these dumb idiots didn’t clean up the engine inside after the repair and it end up damaging my oil pump and rod bearing. Do not take your truck there. Plus they take longer then they say. And when I told them they didn’t follow guide line of bull gear repair, they told me you never told us to change this or that like I’m some the mechanic that’s performing the repair. I took the truck in there and said fix the truck I don’t know what’s wrong with it, please change everything needed. And here I am with a repair of 17k and they don’t want to take no responsibility. Here is some pictures after driving my truck after their repair.

Fast service. Called ahead to see if they can fix my APU squeaky belt. They tightened belt and while underneath they noticed extremely corroded wires to alternator. Went under to check for myself and wires literally fell apart when messing with them. Replaced wires and got me up and running. Cost me $80 bucks. Highly recommend.

I have a 2012 Cascadia, and can say that this place affordable fair and by far most importantly fast. Only thing I can suggest is that this place is busy so always call ahead. One other huge thing is, you can talk with the mechanic that worked on your truck this isnt always the case but makes a huge difference.
