I've been going to this garage for years. It's been through various owners, but each has been great. Trustworthy, which to me is most important because I know nothing about car mechanics. No matter what the job is, everyone here explains every detail of what they do, they save the old parts, they tell me what I DON'T need done, and they do the job within the time frame promised.

I highly recommend this place,, Judy did a really good job fixing my braking noise issue. He spent almost whole weekend finding the matching part. Very responsive and professional!

This was my first experience going to a servicing shop for my car, and Howie was truly exceptional! He patiently explained the details of what my car would need for the first time, recommending what's best for my car. The prices were very reasonable for all part. I have always been wary of people who try to up-sell you products, but Howie genuinely gave me honest opinions about what's best and I felt completely at ease trusting him. Such people are rare to come by. I will always come back to Howie's shop for future servicing and highly recommend it to everyone! Pros: - Reasonable prices - Trustworthy - Easy to work with - Easy communication (we communicated through Yelp) - No hassles or up-selling Cons - None!

I asked for a quote for a new ignition switch which is a fairly simple job and should take less than an hour and they quoted me a 2 hour job at $175 per hour, even with me providing the part..SPEAKS FOR ITSELF. I got the job done elsewhere for LESS than $150 parts & labor. Shop around. There are still fair honest mechanics to be found in the bay area
