So I lost my old mechanic, of 35 yrs. A friend told me about this place. Said he was honest and didn't try upcharge you. So my car just didn't start. Had it towed over there, and within a few hours, it was done. I was like whhaattt...no way.. He said, ya just a bad battery. He replaced it. 270$ and I was out the door with a new battery. He could've screwed me. Transmission, alternator, something more, but he didn't. I was so impressed, I got them donuts. Thank you! I have 3 cars, and there all coming to you guys. Jenn

I was told two different times how much my transmission fluid change would cost, only for them to add an additional $40 to my bill. I asked Jim why, and he said something about disposal and labor cost and other weird fees. It was a standard fluid change, so I'm not sure why they changed the price after the service was done. The guy who told me the original price (I believe his son) was standing there listening with his arms crossed, trying to be intimidating. He was pissed that I called them out. It seems like they only cater to certain skin tones and women who don't know much about cars.

I went to get gas and smokes. Gas prices are acceptable, but nothing to write about. The prices for smokes, on the other hand, are the best. I did just switch brands, from Marlboro to American Spirit, Black's for both. The customer loyalty program is great.

Been going to Jim's Automotive for years. And it took me about 10 years to find a mechanic I trusted. That was Jim's. Quality work, very Trustworthy, efficient and does it all in a timely fashion.

I am thankful and appreciative of Jim"s Auto repair in Lakewood as they replaced the fuel pump on my Dodge truck in a friendly professional trustworthy manner at a very reasonable price.
