JC Auto Wrecking Introduce

For local users in Los Angeles seeking automotive components, JC Auto Wrecking operates as an **Auto Repair Station** in the broader sense of providing goods for sale that facilitate auto repair. Situated at 5538 Long Beach Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90058, USA, this establishment primarily deals in salvaged and used auto parts, which are essential for many repair and restoration projects. The business can be contacted via phone at (323) 476-2133 or mobile at +1 323-476-2133.

As an **Auto Repair Station** that offers goods for sale, JC Auto Wrecking functions as a source for vehicle components, often at a lower cost than new parts. Businesses categorized this way are crucial to the automotive ecosystem, enabling mechanics, DIY enthusiasts, and other repair shops to acquire necessary parts, particularly for older or less common vehicles where new parts might be expensive or hard to find. Their inventory typically includes engines, transmissions, body panels, electrical components, and various other salvaged parts from decommissioned vehicles.

The **environment** of an auto wrecking yard, by its very nature, is often utilitarian and focused on the storage and retrieval of vehicle components. It is not typically designed for aesthetic appeal or luxurious customer comfort, but rather for efficient operation in handling and disassembling vehicles. The address on Long Beach Ave, a known industrial corridor in Los Angeles, suggests a setting consistent with an automotive salvage operation. One customer review explicitly describes the area as "Very dirty and dangerous area," which provides a direct insight into the perceived physical environment surrounding the business. This description indicates that customers should expect a no-frills, industrial setting characteristic of a salvage yard, rather than a polished retail space. The focus is on the availability of parts, not necessarily on a comfortable shopping experience.

The core **services** provided by JC Auto Wrecking revolve around the sale of used automotive parts. This typically involves:

  • Salvaged Parts Sales: Offering a wide range of components recovered from wrecked or dismantled vehicles, such as engines, transmissions, alternators, starters, doors, bumpers, headlights, and interior parts.
  • Part Locating: Assisting customers in finding specific parts for their vehicle make and model from their inventory.
Given the nature of "auto wrecking," the primary service is the acquisition, dismantling, and resale of used automotive components. While they provide parts that enable repairs, the direct "repair" service itself is not detailed in the provided information, but rather the provision of the parts themselves. The mention of "rebuild the transmission" in a customer review suggests they might offer or facilitate services related to rebuilding specific components, though the quality and reliability of such services are critical points of customer feedback.

When assessing the **features** of JC Auto Wrecking, it's important to consider the benefits and drawbacks commonly associated with auto wrecking yards. A primary benefit is the potential for **cost savings** on parts compared to purchasing new OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) components. For budget-conscious individuals or those working on older vehicles, used parts can be an economical solution. Another feature is the **availability of rare or discontinued parts** that might no longer be manufactured. Wrecking yards can be a treasure trove for hard-to-find components, preserving older vehicles that would otherwise be difficult to repair.

However, the provided customer reviews highlight significant concerns regarding the quality of the products and the customer service, which are crucial features defining the business. One detailed review explicitly states a highly negative experience:

  • A customer purchased a "used transmission" for an Acura TL, which was found to be "bad" and "never rebuilt."
  • Upon returning the faulty transmission for rebuilding, it was allegedly brought back "untouched" with "disgusting dirty oil inside," despite claims from an employee (Caesar) that his "transmission guy" had opened it.
  • The customer reported wasting "months trying to contact Caesar who kept giving us lies over the phone and kept the money of what we paid for a bad, problematic transmission."
  • The review concludes with strong admonishments: "I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO DO BUSINESS HERE! KEEP AWAY! They are very unprofessional!"
This review, while a single data point, points to critical issues in product quality, service integrity, and customer communication, which are paramount features for any business, especially one supplying crucial vehicle components. The accusation of "scamming people of their money and time" is a severe claim that potential customers should be aware of. This suggests that while used parts offer a potential cost advantage, the risk of acquiring faulty products and experiencing poor customer service, particularly in resolving issues, may be a significant feature of transacting with JC Auto Wrecking, based on this specific testimony.

In terms of **promotional information**, direct marketing or special offers for JC Auto Wrecking are not explicitly detailed in the provided information. For businesses in the auto wrecking category, promotions often rely on word-of-mouth, competitive pricing, and the sheer availability of desired parts. However, in this case, the highly negative customer review serves as a strong counter-promotion. While the business contact information (phone: (323) 476-2133, mobile: +1 323-476-2133, address: 5538 Long Beach Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90058, USA) facilitates direct inquiry, the public testimonial about a faulty product, alleged deception, and unresponsive customer service would likely be a significant factor for any prospective customer researching the business. In an industry where trust and reliability are paramount, especially when dealing with used critical components like transmissions, such negative feedback could heavily influence a customer's decision. Potential customers are advised to exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence, including asking specific questions about warranties or return policies for used parts, and verifying the condition of parts before purchase, especially given the explicit warnings in the customer review. The company's phone numbers are available for direct communication, allowing customers to inquire about specific parts or policies before visiting.

JC Auto Wrecking Customer Reviews

I am not the type of individual to write bad reviews but this is well needed. We purchased a used transmission sometime last year for an Acura TL. The transmission was bad, it was never rebuilt…so we called them to pick up the bad transmission and to rebuild the transmission. 2 weeks later they brought us back the same transmission untouched. With the most disgusting dirty oil inside. Though Caesar claims his “transmission guy” opened it. They are not worthy of having their business stay open if they continue to scam people of their money and time. We have wasted months trying to contact Caesar who kept giving us lies over the phone and kept the money of what we paid for a bad, problematic transmission. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TO DO BUSINESS HERE! KEEP AWAY! They are very unprofessional!

This place is disgusting, they made me drive 6 hours for an engine and when it arrived it wasn't the engine I needed... The man didn't even want to give me gas. They are a bunch of rats, I don't recommend them. That place is very dangerous. The man's name is Cesar Prado, be careful with him.
