Jackson Metal & Glass

In January 2021 I contacted Jackson Metal & Glass to replace windows for a storefront. He received a deposit to purchase materials and start the job in 2 weeks. 2 weeks came and went and no update on the installation date. After getting the run around for over a year. It’s March 2022 and the windows still have been installed. I’m unable to get back the deposit or get in contact with him. Be Careful! I’d suggest looking for services elsewhere

Initially upon meeting Mr. Jackson he was professional and assured me he could install a bathroom shower glass timely and proficiently. He arrived at my house out of our scheduled time frame, took measurements, collected his deposit and we confirmed at date. I did not hear from Mr. Jackson on our confirmed date. After calling him he explained the glass had not arrived due to a delay with the manufacturer. I had to follow up with Mr. Jackson several times thereafter to confirm a date/time, even after he received the glass door from the manufacturer. Within a few days after install, I noticed the glass door did not fit correctly and water was leaking around the glass from the bottom and sides. I then called Mr. Jackson and told him about the issue and sent him pictures as proof. He then told me the reason for the leak was a result of my shower being improperly installed-NEVER MENTIONED AT CONSULTATION OR AFTER INSTALL. Regardless, I was assured additional part would be ordered and installed to fix the water leak. I had to call/text Mr. Jackson for 2 weeks. I was constantly being told "I'm finishing up a job but I'll get to you tomorrow". Tomorrow would come and he was a no show/no call. When I called him out on his unprofessionalsim, he became rude and dismissive and told me his job was done and I could go to home depot myself to fix the problem myself. I would not recommend this company because of the owners poor work ethic, lack of professionalism, poor communication skills, tardiness and disregard for clients times and hard earned money. Continue your search, I highly suggest finding another glass company to work with.
