Interstate Batteries of Las Vegas Introduce
Interstate Batteries of Las Vegas, located at 4151 W Oquendo Rd in Las Vegas, NV, operates within the Auto Repair Stations category, primarily focusing on the sale and replacement of batteries for vehicles. As a specialized auto repair station, their core offering appears to be battery-related services.
Customer reviews present mixed experiences. One customer had a positive experience with a warranty replacement, noting the politeness of the front desk and service technician, as well as the quick service. They appreciated the support provided by Interstate Batteries during a time of need, even though they felt the initial battery may have been defective.
Conversely, another customer reported a significantly negative experience. This involved a battery replacement that did not meet their vehicle's voltage requirements, followed by a perceived lack of clear communication and service during a subsequent visit to the store for a replacement under warranty. This customer detailed confusion regarding the battery exchange process, a prolonged wait time, and a feeling of being treated poorly, ultimately expressing dissatisfaction with the overall service and pricing compared to another auto parts store.
Based on these reviews, Interstate Batteries of Las Vegas may be a suitable option for straightforward battery replacements, particularly those under warranty. However, potential customers might want to be mindful of the reported inconsistencies in service and clarity of procedures. For specific inquiries about battery types, installation services, warranty information, or any potential promotions, local users can contact them directly at (702) 736-1825 or +1 702-736-1825.

I had no problems getting a new replacement battery from Interstate. It was still under the warranty coverage period, so I only had to pay the install fee. The front desk and service tech were very nice, and I didn't have to wait long before my car was able to start normally again. Seems like the battery was defective because it lasted barely a year, but I'm glad I could depend on Interstate's help when I really needed it!

I am leaving this review because after my experience with Interstate All Battery Center I feel like I went to The Twilight Zone and somewhere in Las Vegas Rod Sterling is smoking a cigarette and filming me in my episode??? I had to replace the battery in my corvette on June 2 of this year and wound up calling Pop a Lock for assistance. The tech arrived and replaced the battery and I did not realize it was a battery that would cause havoc in my Corvette because it did not hold the voltage at 13+. So I called and asked for another battery and was told they would reach out to me or I could bring the battery to the Battery Center. I opted for just getting it done and went over to the Center. I told them the issue and they said they would have to test the battery but it was under warranty. Thought no problem, go for it. The tech at the center came over tested the battery and found out it was not charging. So i went in and talked to a different associate, younger than the first, who by the way is their employee of the month! The new associate told me the new battery would be $400+dollars?????!!!! I asked if they would allow me to pay the difference of $230 and she answered yes no problem( figured a $400 battery would come with an install??) She called the tech and said they would meet me outside. I was out in the heat for about 20 minutes and could feel the old theme song from The Twilight Zone playing as there were no other customers and no tech with a battery?? I decided to go inside and Their Employee of the Month looked at me as if I had a third eye growing from my brow and I asked her about the battery. She said it was out on the rack near the door! I was then waiting maybe they were going to install it or give me the tools to do it? She then turned and walked away. I picked up the battery and then brought it home now wondering Did they want the old battery back??? So I called and Pam answered to dispel the confusion and let me know yes they did need this back. Now I had to run this battery back and the younger associate thanked me for bringing it back and their Employee of the Month was sitting at the front. I asked the younger associate if this is a common thing of people having to go home and then bring back the old battery? She said no we usually take care of that.Twilight Zone moment! Why was I not offered this service ??? I was done by this point and will probably not return to this place for service again. I have been in the Customer Service Industry for over 40 years and will always bend over backwards for my guest/customer ( hence the CUSTOMER SERVICE INDUSTRY). I was made to feel like a nuisance and this is after paying all together $432 for an amg battery! If the owner/manager is reading this, help your service people appreciate the person walking in the door and try to build the rapport so that they always consider your establishment as THE OBVIOUS CHOICE! To give you a comparison I walked into Auto Zone and was made to feel as a valued customer for $16 for the battery post extenders on the same day! And their AMG batteries are $259.

STRANDED AND ABANDONED!!! If you think interstate honors their warranty, you're sadly mistaken! Read the other diesel truck review with dual batteries. They will try to blame your truck as the issue. Even if you took it to the repair shop and they told you there's nothing wrong and the batteries are worn out. And I'm not at all surprised about reading all the other negative reviews saying they will not honor warranty. There is one review that says they quickly replaced a battery. Did they write it?! Gotta wonder! First, they'll wheel out this giant archaic resistance testing device on a cart that looks like it came out of a mad scientist's laboratory in horror movie from the 1950's, like Dr. Frankenstein, and tell you the batteries are fine and fully charged. Over 13 volts they said. The batteries are in perfect shape they said! Then they'll try to blame your truck, say the cables are the issue. So which is it? If the batteries are fully charged and fine, then the cables must be fine too, otherwise the batteries wouldn't be charged by the alternator, would they??!! I also keep the terminals clean and apply antioxidant. I told the manager the truck barely starts in the morning when it gets cold and it will not last another cold season. The voltage drops below 12 volts over night, like about 11.6. For anyone who knows anything about 12 volt batteries, any voltage below 12 volts means the battery is almost if not fully discharged. Normal voltage on a 12 volt battery is 12.8 or higher. I even have battery disconnects to prevent the computer or any other component from drawing power overnight. The batteries were still under "warranty." Emphasis on the quotation marks! The manager didn't care when I told him I WILL BE STRANDED this winter. All he kept repeating is how he would have to explain to the owner why he replaced perfectly good batteries with a 13.1 voltage. I begged him to replace them. Nothing. Like talking to a brick wall for 20 minutes. Read the other review of the diesel truck. They also told him to hit the road! If you have a diesel that requires 2 batteries, go somewhere else. Anywhere else! These trucks have a 48 volt fuel injection system that requires a quality battery due to the high load on the batteries. These trucks take the voltage from the two 12 volt batteries and convert them to 48 volts. I've had batteries from national popular chain stores, never a problem. When it was time to get new batteries the last time, I read how AGM batteries are really great. Especially for cold starts. Got the expensive AGM from interstate. Spent almost $500. Money down the drain. If you run a business or have a fleet of trucks, watch out. You have been warned! They could care less about the customer, only their BOTTOM LINE! I wish there was a way to access their records to see how many warranties they honor on a yearly business. They need to understand that people these days make decisions based on reviews. This is not the old days anymore where the customer is powerless when they are mistreated by a business who doesn't care about the customer!

Employees were nice and helpful but I'm giving a 3 star because I had to leave my battery overnight which I didn't mind and was told I could pick it up at 8am the next day. I showed up at 8am the next day and the employee told me that I had to wait or come back to get my battery because the warehouse guy didn't show up yet. He ended up getting in between 8:30-8:45. I had a meeting to attend at 9:15am so that made me late. I understand things happen but If you tell me to come back at 8:00, I expect to pick it up at 8:00 and not guess when the warehouse guy will be coming in.

This place is not what you think. Zero customer service. No knowledge people. No attempt at your business. They gave a few batteries there. If you need any type of help or have a question, nada.

Calling out the owner for the "untruth" in their reply to my first review I deleted. They claimed they did a hydrometer test. These are SEALED AGM batteries. That would be impossible. If they deny your warranty, call the BBB, then file a small claim complaint in court! $500 gone!

They did a great job. In and out in forty-five minutes.
