Integrated Performance Inc Customer Reviews

Alex and his team are extremely professional. If you need work done on a Miata, I provide the highest of recommendations. We had a roll bar installed on an ND2 Miata (Blackbird Fabworx), and Alex made sure that even amidst certain challenges post installation, the car was in perfect working order. I sincerely recommend their services.

From the moment I met them until I left with my performance alignment done and fix the height of my coil overs my experience was exceptional. They are really friendly and they can diagnose anything so fast. You can tell they know what they are talking about. Priced a decent price for the job done and it was a no brainer. Also, the moment you drive there are 5-10 miatas being service/modified. If you have a Miata, this is the place to be at.

This place is great. It's inspires a lot of confidence when you see the shop full of Miata's. I took my 2023 MX-5 for an alignment and they did an amazing job. The car is super stable on fast sweepers. I used to go to another shop for my alignment needs but they recently raised prices. I thought if I'm going to pay specialist pricing, to actually go to a specialist. I will definitely come here when I need to do work on my car and I can't get it done myself. Update: I called in looking for two sets of wheels to have tires mounted on them and he gave me great advice that resulted in the job I wanted being done quicker and same day, you guys are awesome.

I don’t usually like to leave negative reviews online on local small businesses, but I don’t want you guys to spend the premium and expect a precision alignment at a reputable shop to get a car back that’s borderline sketchy to drive. I asked for a custom alignment for my ND, the owner Alex seemed to know the “common” alignment on these cars and told me to not worry about it. Results are shocking. 1st try at Integrated: Toes were off. Steering wheel was offset. Car was pulling to the right. Took the car back in and Alex went on a test drive with me, during which he would demonstrate the car is “going straight” even when physically the car was pulling to the right. When I pointed it out, Alex told me it’s because the road is crowned. I told him I’ve driven anything with 195-305 front tires. I’d know how a car should track straight and the car is not tram-lining. I insisted him to look at it again. 2nd try at Integrated: This is when things got interesting. First of all, the “after” alignment numbers from the first alignment are now completely different from the baseline number on the second alignment. The camber was off by 0.3 deg on certain wheels and caster was off by 2.5 deg. Alex reassured me by saying alignments wouldn’t stay the same after the car comes off the rack, even if they’re immediately back on the rack for verification purposes. This immediately raised big red flags to me and it either means 1. Geometry (caster) itself walked drastically in less than 25 miles, which means something was loose and shifted. 2. Repeatability of the measurement is poor, which means it’s impossible to get caster to be within +/-2.5, and camber to be +/-0.3 on this rack. Car does now go straight but it didn’t take long before I noticed something else was off. The steering felt very light and mushy on center, and the car had this weird lateral instability over bumps at freeway speeds that I’ve never experienced before. I took to some corners I’m familiar with by my house and noticed the car felt a lot more nervous at the limit and felt very different turning left vs right. I was uncomfortable driving the car any further because I was unsure if it was safe and I was not going to trust this shop again to potentially make it even worse. 3nd try at a new shop: I went to a different shop to verify that I’m not crazy. The baseline numbers came back as follows: Camber Front Left: -1.4 Camber Front Right: -2.0 Caster Left: 8.3 Caster Right: 3.9 Camber Rear Left: -1.4 Camber Rear Rifht: -2.4 Mind you this is a freshly aligned the car. The new shop also saw that the eccentric caster adjuster was turned to the extreme on one side and another extreme on the other side. For a light car like Miata, a large split in caster would cause imbalance in the caster jacking behavior of the car and causes the car to feel unstable. I cannot think of any reason this was done other than negligence and/or poor equipment. The new shop redid the entire alignment and hit the numbers I asked for. The car now goes dead straight and feels sharp again on center without any of the sketchy behavior from the alignment I got from integrated. I think most driving enthusiasts out there are willing to pay the premium for their car to be properly aligned at a reputable shop. I’m disappointed that the experience did not live up to expectation. If you want a precision alignment and you care about how your car drives after, don’t go here. 2 stars for 2x 1 star alignment I received.
