I recently visited Independent Motor Car for an issue with my 2018 Range Rover Evoque, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience. From the moment I scheduled my appointment, I felt valued as a customer. The young lady who assisted me was incredibly polite and caring, making the process seamless and reassuring. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Tom, who went above and beyond to explain the issue with my car in a way that was easy to understand. As a young woman with limited knowledge about cars, I often worry about being taken advantage of at mechanic shops. However, that was not the case here. Tom and his team were honest, transparent, and made me feel completely comfortable. Adam, the mechanic who worked on my car, also took the time to personally greet me and ensure he fully understood the issue before beginning any work. The level of professionalism and courtesy from everyone at Independent Motor Car was outstanding. I waited while my car was being repaired, and everything is running perfectly. The pricing was fair, and the service exceeded my expectations. I rarely leave reviews, but this shop truly deserves recognition for their honesty, exceptional service, and customer care. I am so grateful to have found them and will definitely return for any future car needs. Highly recommend!

BART and Tom are two knowledgeable and friendly guys. I brought my new defender in for its first service and they did a great job. Then the next day while trimming some plastic from the inner wheel well to accommodate larger tires I hit the auxiliary radiator. Obviously not something that the dealer would cover under warranty and not wanting to even involve the dealer, independent motor car came to the rescue and repaired the issue quickly at a fraction of the cost. I will use them for all my Land Rover needs outside of the warranty and after when it expires. Excellent shop and customer service.

Very friendly. Knowledgeable and Honest. Very fair price. I found a new shop to tend to my Rovers needs. Will recommend everyone I know to trust this shop for their vehicles repairs.

I have a 2015 LR4 Lux that I love and have been going to the dealer for all these years. And, all these years, I've also been looking for a reliable shop that understands these cars and has the right infrastructure/computers etc to reliably work on them/trust the repairs. (no luck in the tri-state area for many years) I can't tell you how thrilled I am to have found Independent MotorCars -- I actually drive out from the city and rent a car for however long -- and I still save at least 1/3 or more what the dealer would charge me -- I've been going to them for over a year now and all the work/diagnostics have been spot on. If you have a Land/Range Rover I don't have to tell you that 1/3 or more savings is real money. Don't think twice.

These guys are top notch! Brought my disco in here after bringing my truck to multiple shops on Long Island and just getting fed up. I bring it here and they know what they are doing. I had new ball joints installed upper and lower both sides. New coil packs, oil change, exhaust manifold leaks fixed on both sides, o2 sensors and more I’m sure I’m forgetting. They did an awesome job! First shop that could align my truck the first time and actually get the wheel straight! Don’t waste your time anywhere else.
