They took great care of me and my car, as always. I appreciate the exceptional customer service I get at Honda of Middleburg Hts every time I bring one of my cars in!

Our experience…we arrived at Honda of Middleburg Heights for our regular oil change appointment. I received a phone call stating that tech had noticed that I had an oil leak. I explained to my advisor that the car is parked in a garage and we have not observed any oil spots on the garage floor. I was told… I’m just letting you know what the tech observed. I asked where the oil was coming from and the advisor said that I had to pay for a diagnostic for them to find the oil leak. I asked if the oil was low, and the advisor explained that the tech didn’t notice. I explained to my advisor that I would wash the car and engine and We can revisit the oil leak on the next Service visit. I picked up the car, washed the Car and engine and I noticed that my transmission fill Plug was not placed in the hole and that there was oil all over it. I also noticed that the hose connecting to the air box was broken. So I called the next morning to explain to the advisor what I discovered on the vehicle and he explained that the Service director, Bob was not in today but he would try to get a hold of him. I received a phone call later from my advisor stating that they had sampled the Transmission fluid, and there was no contaminants found. He said he spoke to the service director, and he had said that they were not going to do a transmission flush Or they will not replace anything because that wasn’t the Tech’s fault and that is not part of the inspection that he would do or observe. Since the service director was not available I asked to speak to the lane manager, Samantha. When she got on the phone very rudely she explained that she knew what happened and that they are not responsible for anything that happened to the car. I went to pick up my vehicle and try to speak to Samantha in person and she continued to cut me off and not hear me out and tell me there is nothing they can do. She said she had spoke to the service director and they agreed that they were not responsible for the damages! But if I wanted to pay for them to do a diagnostic and replace the parts that are broken that I could choose to do that. Samantha is not a kind person and should not be allowed to communicate with customers at all! I purchased the parts from a different dealer for less than $50 and had them install them. I never received a call from the service director or anyone to apologize for the inconvenience. Our vehicles had been going to this service department for 10 years. This has been the last time at this dealer and I will never recommend anyone to go there!!! If you want to be treated fairly…go somewhere else!! Thanks Bob and Samantha.

It was time for my oil change and I had also just realized the letter in the mail to have the seat safety replaced. So Bradley ordered me a ride home, stating that it would take approximately three hours to do everything. I very much appreciated that. When it was finished, they picked me up at home and returned me to pick up the car. I liked the fact that I accomplished a lot at home in that time.

I think it utterly ridiculous that I drop a car off for 2 recall items and there is no loaner vehicle option. They did offer to rent us a car. No thanks. Bought the vehicle there (good experience) but will not be taking it back for any further recall work.
