I took my vehicle here to be tinted. 1. While tinting they damaged my touch screen. The manager stated “this happens all the time it will dry out and work tomorrow” which it did. Now It works on and off frequently do to water damage. They told me it was the tint that caused the issue, and they removed the tint without my permission. There director then offered me a 50 dollar discount to sign a non disclosure form. 2. They then left my car unlocked on a busy street all day. 3. The tint job has multiple bubbles. 4. There director will take no responsibility for her employees actions. Save your money and go to a place that will not damage your car and do a low quality tint job for top dollar prices. There managers last statement to me really sums up what kind of place this is “ your review doesn’t affect my paycheck.” I’m glad too see your response Katie “ it truly shows how much accountability you take.

As little as I write post reviewers with no description, this was easily one of the worst experiences. Brought in my car and it was left with streaks, bubbles and was charged insanely high. Without a doubt the good reviewers are paid for or just wanted some sort of tint. Armature tint shops have done better.

As most people have been posting, they offer the most competitive pricing and even offer military discounts, whereas most other places don't. Prior to soliciting their services, I had shopped around throughout the East Bay to have my front door windows tinted and in the end, went with them. Allissa was my installer and I highly recommend her! She's the epitome of what excellent customer service is, given the current retail/service climate. She was patient, understanding, very detailed with their product explanation and communicative with the time frame of having my vehicle completed. She definitely deserves a raise and I hope she's valued as a professional installer for Jet Black Tint & Glass. New Edit: Work Done 06/18/23 (Still 5 Stars) My hats off to Jet Black Tint & Glass in Hayward! Allissa once again took care of my vehicle. They definitely live by their lifetime warranty and guaranteed work. I had some barely noticeable bubbles that I honestly would have been fine with but Allissa had them re-done and aside from this, my other reason for returning was to get my front window ceramic tinted to help with the heat as Summer approaches. Honestly, my fellow Yelpers, I don't know of another shop that provides the level of service that they do. I will definitely be using them for future services and will recommend them to anyone that asks me for a reputable tint shop in the East Bay. Highly recommend JET Black Tint. Taha helped me get my vehicle tuned. My first time ever getting it done and I wanted my windows tinted darker. They did a great job the first time but my tint wasn’t as dark as I wanted so they took care of me and redid my car! Appreciate the customer service and attention to detail.

This place in hayward .make us wait for 5 hours for just 2 window.s. and we end at 8pm waiting showing our window so messed up.we have to come back early morning again tomorrow for them to fix their mess. They messd up our whole 5 hours waiting and giving us false hopes that it can be done. Not honest at all that weve waited for 5 hours .no regards that we have work getting tired This way .even suggesting us to leave our car because its late 8pm at night..and the guy said we keep calling call center . I told the guy of course .we as costumers wants the truth whats going on for a painstaking wait...i refused to leave our car , just go home and just come back in the morning to get it redone.we dont want another problem leaving our car overnight . Thats not gonna happen .i cant even trust them with a job well done..of course not to trust leaving my car overnight with another false hope. ..another trip is so crazy for a messy job and.ruins our whole day stressed and pissed. This happened today 08/29/2024 .lets see what manager will do to this messy job right as we call the call center that they will escalate to the manager..I will update how they gonna fix it properly.i guess it plays in the camera how we patiently waiting until 5 hours of wait show us our window like this hell. Update today.8/30/24 Came back to redo the tinting. At 9am..then came back to pick up the car st 12pm .checked the tinting and there is still so much bubbles over the the whole work in the window tint.its so messy .so slappy and wierd nasty bubbles all over.they told us to wait two weeks before the bubbles dissapear .if not just come back again...horrible.what a nightmare .
