Excited about our new to us RV! I am not a fool and knew that some things did not run right in the home side of the unit. I reached out to Happy Trail Camper Repair and within an hour, we had a service call set up to have a technician evaluate the situation. Matt explained how he schedules his calls. We let him know we want to be sure all systems are in order and explained our timing. He gave us the option to order the parts, gave us a world of knowledge, and made sure everything was operational. Top it off he came to our house and tried to work around my schedule. All very worth the price!!! Bonus, the dead critter smell was gone within the hour. Very satisfied customer. Keep our camper near here but live 3 hrs south. Needed some work done and decided to support a local business. Matt said he'd look at it. The next call we got was 2 1/2 weeks later saying it was ready and was $1800.00 minus a first time customer discount. My husband drove 3 hrs to pick it up when Matt said he only takes CASH. He said they never got around to getting a card machine. We gave him 1/2 till we can come up with the rest. Two days later we get a call from a friend of his offering a name of someone with a Vemno acct I could send it to...??? Made calls to others from that area only to learn he DOES take cards. He did admit this later with no explanation as to why he wanted CASH only from us. We agreed to the remaining amount due, gave him my Pay Pal card and he was going to send text with receipt. Never received a receipt, but did receive a notice from Paypal showing he added more money to the verbally agreed amount left due. He hasn't respond to texts or phone calls. At this point we are questioning whether or not to trust if the repairs were done or done correctly. So sad this all happened just because we wanted support a local Medford business. Will not trust or recommend.
