We have taken our cars to Scott (Hanks Auto) for years. We have recommended him friends and family. He restored a 1969 VW Classic Karmann Ghia as well as every other car we have brought him. He’s honest and we trust him.

Trustworthy and Highly Competent. I've been taking my cars to Hank's Auto since the 90s, from brakes on a '64 Corvair to head gaskets for a Honda Civic to fueling problems on a 2005 Element, starters, maintenance , and many others over the years. The rate has always been fair and more importantly, the job gets done correctly the first time and with no qualfiers or excuses. Scott is a straight shooter and won't try to upsell you like some of the chains do. All of this makes Hank's the place I have been taking my cars and wholeheartedly recommending for around 25 years.

Excellent customer service. The crew gets the job done and the the head of the business (Thomas) is honest and doesn’t sneak extra “unnecessary repairs” on you whatsoever. It is rare to find an honest mechanic business. These guys deserve so much credit for their hard work, 6 stars out of 5 to be honest. (;

I can't say enough good things about Scott. He is the BEST! He worked on my cars when I lived in LA, and was totally worth the drive to Lomita to get great car care. Completely trustworthy, honest, fast, and efficient, Scott won't charge any more than he must or jack up your bill after giving you an estimate. He really cares about his customers and giving them the best service possible.
