What a great and refreshing experience to be able to talk to a knowledgeable mechanic who understands customers needs. Gus took the time to discuss possible issues with my F430 and gave me some comfort reassuring me everything was operating normal. I will be back next season to install some aftermarket goodies! I look forward to establishing a long-term relationship with this shop and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic.

The best. Took my BMW here for a coolant leak and quickly saw why these guys are so highly rated. Honest and efficient. Saved me a ton vs what the dealership would have charged me.

Look no further than Gus' Auto Imports for your Mercedes (and other German vehicles) service and maintenance requirements. Gus runs a first class shop and will always take the time to explain in detail what your car needs and afterwards what he did. Gus and his team have worked on my 3 Mercedes over the years and I am so grateful to them for incredibly high caliber work they do.

I first met Gus about 15 yrs ago when I took my E430 in for a second opinion. The dealer quoted me a few grand and Gus fixed it right in front of me for like $100. In a world with plenty of shady auto folks who take advantage of uninformed customers, it was refreshing to meet someone like this. Over the years, Gus has become a friend in addition to being our family's go to mechanic for MB, BMW, and Audi (we took him a VW once...once 😁). He's always nice, explains the problem and the solutions available, always fair on price (WAY lower than dealer) and will even tell you when NOT to do a repair even if it would make him money. Recently our Audi A4 had a dead cylinder (probably a cracked piston) and told us what it would cost...but also that we shouldnt do it. The fix wasn't worth what the car was. If you have a German car and live in the West Suburbs of Chicago, Gus is your guy! Tell him Noel sent you!
