Golden State Paint & Body

We had an incredible incident take place with our car. Someone decided to weed wack around our car. If that wasn't bad enough they pummeled it with stones! When I saw my car I was horrified! We took it to Golden State Paint and Body in Porterville. They did an incredible job 💯. We couldn't believe it! It's like a brand new car! They are very nice and professional and they worked hard on it. They do superb work. They kept us updated throughout the process. We really appreciated that.You would not be disappointed.

Avoid avoid avoid! Over priced, poor customer service, poor quality of work and worst of all they do not cover their work after the give you back the car. they started work on my car with our even telling me, I took my car in for an estimate and by the time the insurance company got the estimate they were already almost 6000$ in on working on my car, even after I told them to NOT do the repairs. I was forced to let them finish. I truly regret ever dealing with them and I strongly recommend no one goes to them, the experience I had is not something I would wish on my enemies. Instead of helping they just added to my stress. It's been about a month since I got my car back from them, I now have a broken scoop on my new hood, a headlight that doesn't match my other one, a new knock on my front end that wasn't there before the accident, a damaged key fob, and a broken hood latch lever all this after they put 12,000$ into my car. I'm still trying to make time to get it fixed properly.  So far after they claim they fixed everything that was damaged I'm still stuck with about 800$ worth of damage that I'm trying to get the insurance to fix.  Last I spoke with them they were gonna give me a refund on the damages they caused but I have yet to hear anything back from them.  So again avoid avoid avoid, Unless you want to get ripped off and treated poorly.

Golden state paint and body is by far the best around. They are true professionals. Ashley did our estimate and helped us through everything. She was very knowledgeable and made us feel like family. Not to mention my truck was flawless after the repairs.

I took my car in for an inspection. They said they could work on modified cars. So i let them fix the issue and a couple day later then return my car and as im going home it starts acting up again (same issue) . And i then leave it with them again and they say that cant do anything about it since the car is modified when they said they could work with modified cars. All they did was change the maf sensor and it was working well and charged me $400.

The employees are wonderful and very helpful. I took my car in on a Monday and got it back Friday, even though they said it would take a week. They helped me figure out ways to reduce the price when I asked and were very accommodating.
