Very impressed with this business. I received updates from Trevor every Tuesday and Thursday on the status of my vehicle. The staff is very responsive in regards to their communication with customers and the insurance company. My vehicle was cleaned upon pickup without request! Gerber collision and glass in Flint made a stressful situation seamless and I truly cannot recommend this business enough. They even finished my vehicle nearly 2-3 weeks before it was originally anticipated!

I was so impressed with the service I received and the whole experience. Starting with Abbey when she took my claim and then to Trever who kept me updated through the process of getting my truck repaired. The whole staff was amazing! Thank You Gerber Collision! Job well done!

Used them 2 times in one month. Hit a dear twice in same month. They did a great job on both my personal vehicle and work vehicle. First time fix was very pleased with their service. From updates to completion.

Very disappointed from the very beginning of the process and throughout and until the very end including post repair problems. My car has now has wind noise that it never had and this was just a parking lot collision repair that over $7000 was charged my insurance company. Consider your options would be my advice

Mesmerizing incompetence. My truck was struck by a moving tree. The bottom part crushed my hood and front fender, then gouged scratches and dents the length of the vehicle from front to back. The top of the tree wrapped around the driver's side as the oncoming vehicle struck it back in my direction. I dropped the vehicle off in early December. A few weeks later I was told the truck was done, then called and told it still had a bad paint spot on the hood so it had to go back to paint. I was called again saying it was finally done. I arrived and found scratches the length of the passenger side still, and the driver side was also still damaged. They hadn't even looked at the driver side even though it was on the claim. They took it in again. Called back again. Driver side still had damage. Called back again. Inspected the truck, but it was a dark overcast day, and I didn't see there was STILL damage, until I had it in my garage. The taillight has 8" of scratches still. They had my truck for almost 8 weeks, took payment from the insurance company and my deductible, and didn't even complete the job, and cost me a total of 12 hours off work between me and my wife making trip after trip to find it wasn't done. I called the office, spoke to John, and stated that 6+ 40 minute drives were beyond unreasonable, and stated I expected my $500 deductible refunded. I won't make another trip and spend another day without a vehicle because of this shops mistakes. I'd rather fix it myself. John indicated that they they aren't able to "waive" deductibles. Convenient... It's not a waiver, it's a refund for services not delivered. It's a nearly new truck and Gerber collected thousands of dollars from my insurance and $500 from me waiting hours of my time, leaving me without a vehicle for two months, and the job they were paid for was unfinished visit after visit. Now I have to purchase and install a new tail light that costs...guess what?? $517.17 plus delivery, plus more of my time. In my opinion Gerber owes me $1,000 for lost time, and unfinished work. 10+ hours off work driving back and forth. $500+ in parts I still need, and a few hours installing myself what they had 8 weeks to do. I asked for a refund on my $500 deductible. Gerber told me "nah". Avoid this place like the plague. They might get it right, but given what I saw its impossible to imagine that many customers just don't notice or care or complain, but when Gerber fails, YOU are stuck with the bill. I believe in fair and transparent reviews so people can make smart informed decisions about where they spend their money, so if the situation changes I will update this review. This is where Gerber will post a stock message about how they value feedback and "reached out.". Which means nothing. 👇👇 Edit:. There it is! The comment below refers to an email I just received saying I can bring make a 7th trip back to get the taillight fixed. The last time I spoke with the office I asked for a call back on this problem. That was over two weeks ago. These comments on reviews just mask the actual failure to address the problem.
