Foxworthy Gas & Repair

OWNER WILL RIP YOU OFF, Avoid this place at all costs. I came here for a couple of easy things since it was close to my house: 1.) Smog Check - charged me about $90. Normally a smog check is about $40-$50 2.) Standard Oil Change - $125. Normally I have this done at Jiffy Lube for about $80, plus they will actually do a full checkup. 3.) Tire need a patch. Normally when I've needed a quick patch on a tire places have done it for about $10-$20, he tried charging me $35 for it. When I told him that's too much, this guy got all angry at me and told his mechanic to deflate my tire after he had already punctured a larger hole in it to do the patch. I had no choice but to pay his $35 since I couldn't drive off, essentially holding me hostage for his $35 patch job that took 5 minutes. When pushing back on the pricing, he keeps saying "Covid this, Covid that" - just an excuse to price gouge. This seems to be the normal course of business here. Very scummy place, owner will try to rip you off at every opportunity.

Do not go here! I went to get a regular engine oil change for my Toyota Corolla and they charged $120. That’s got to be a complete rip-off. What's worse is that the staff just yelled and pushed back on everything that I was asking about. The very least they could have done is hear me out. Truly the worst customer service that I have seen in the past 40 years of my life.

Had a nail rupture one of the tire's in my wife's car and we wanted to drive it to a repair shop that was close by and wanted to avoid it being towed. This gas and mechanic shop turned out to be the closest one. Drove in and got to talk to Sukhdev/Sukhi and he was very welcoming. He did accommodate our car in his schedule for the day and walked around the car to identify if there was anything else that could have been a problem as well. It appeared that two of the 4 tires were worn out completely while the other two were on the verge. He gave us a good deal on replacing all 4 and that he would return our car the next day which was fine by us. He did give us a call during the day and updated us about the time by when the car would be ready to be picked up the following day. We got the car before the promised time and it turned out to be a great experience. Given the prices for gas surging to new highs this gas station has some real competitive pricing and is definitely the place that i go to fill my gas tank up.

This place is unbelievably bad. First off, they promised to get my car smogged quickly. Not only did they instead take TWO DAYS-- the car failed and instead of telling me, they just called and said "your car is ready to be picked up." Nice. So, not only do I get to waste two days on getting my car ready to go-- I got hit with a $180 bill. For an oil change and a smog check..... excellent. To top it off, they wanted another $450 to "fix" the car-- but of course that would take another day... so I said no, enough pain and went to pick up the car.... and while it ran GREAT before I took it there, it died on the street less than a mile from the shop. And after explaining all this to the owner, his reaction? Smiles and shrugs. Under no conditions go to this place for any reason.

They charged over $120 for regular engine oil change of my Corolla. In my previous visit it was $40. It’s a complete rip-off and the lady at the counter just yelled and pushed back. would not recommend this place at all. Even one star is not worth.
