Fox Auto Salvage & Parts Inc. Introduce

Fox Auto Salvage & Parts Inc., located at 7140 Alliance Rd NW, Malvern, OH 44644, USA, operates as a significant entity within the "Auto Repair Stations" platform category, though its core business is specifically as a large-scale auto parts store and salvage yard. Established in 1977, Fox Auto Salvage & Parts Inc. has a long history in the industry, focusing on recycling motor vehicles and providing new and used late-model auto and truck parts. They serve a wide range of customers, including auto dealers, repair shops, and private individuals throughout the United States. They can be reached by phone at (330) 863-1011 or via mobile at +1 330-863-1011.

The environment at Fox Auto Salvage & Parts Inc. is indicative of a substantial auto recycling and parts distribution operation. They boast a sprawling 40-acre salvage yard that houses up to 3,500 vehicles. This outdoor area is where newly arriving vehicles are inspected, and usable parts are inventoried before removal. Complementing the salvage yard, they also have 65,000 square feet of well-stocked warehouses. These warehouses are meticulously designed to store cleaned and inspected parts safely and efficiently, organized into areas for smaller components, larger body parts and assemblies, and heavier powertrain components like engines, transmissions, and rear axle assemblies. The entire inventory is tracked by a computer system, which allows for quick searches and easy retrieval of parts. This extensive physical setup enables them to manage a massive inventory and serve a large customer base effectively. The environment is geared towards efficient dismantling, storage, and retrieval of a vast range of automotive components.

Fox Auto Salvage & Parts Inc. provides a comprehensive array of services and goods, primarily centered around new and used auto and truck parts. Their offerings include:

  • Used Auto and Truck Parts: This is their primary business. They specialize in late-model parts, ensuring that customers have access to components for newer vehicles. Their extensive inventory covers a vast range of makes and models, as evidenced by their online search tools. Each usable part undergoes cleaning and inspection to meet their warranty standards before being stored in their warehouses.
  • New Aftermarket Parts: In addition to salvaged parts, they also offer new aftermarket auto and truck parts, providing customers with options for their repair needs.
  • Vehicle Recycling: Since 1977, they have been involved in recycling all types of motor vehicles, which is the source of their used parts inventory. This includes dismantling vehicles and responsibly processing end-of-life cars and trucks.
  • Nationwide Shipping: They offer same-day shipping for ordered parts via FedEx or common carrier motor freight, demonstrating their logistical capabilities to serve customers across the entire United States.
  • Local Delivery: For account customers within Northeast Ohio, they operate regular delivery routes using their own fleet of trucks, covering major areas like Cleveland, Youngstown, Warren, Massillon, Canton, and more, as well as specific routes to areas like Cadiz and Steubenville on certain days.
  • Dismantling Department: They have a dedicated department for processing newly arriving vehicles, ensuring that usable parts are properly inventoried and removed.
  • Customer Support: They employ over 20 employees dedicated to assisting customers in finding the correct, quality parts they need. They also emphasize their commitment to making customers their number one priority.
These services are crucial for individuals and businesses looking for cost-effective and readily available replacement parts, especially for late-model vehicles.

The company prides itself on several key features. One major feature is its vast inventory and extensive operational scale, as indicated by the 40-acre salvage yard and 65,000 square feet of warehouses. This allows them to boast of having "more than 3,500 vehicles" and being able to find almost any part. Their computerized inventory system is a significant feature, enabling quick searches and efficient retrieval of parts, which is crucial for customer service and quick order fulfillment. The company also highlights its experience in the industry since 1977, suggesting a deep understanding of auto parts and recycling. Their commitment to providing quality, new or used late-model auto and truck parts is central to their value proposition. Furthermore, the offer of same-day shipping and local delivery routes for account customers is a strong feature for efficiency and convenience. They also mention that parts, after removal, are cleaned and thoroughly inspected to meet their "warranty standards," suggesting a commitment to product quality and reliability. Their website states a focus on "Racing to make YOU our #1 customer!" indicating a dedication to customer satisfaction.

However, it is crucial to present a balanced view by including the significant negative feedback from customer reviews, which highlight conflicting experiences regarding these features:

  • One customer reported a highly frustrating experience where a rear end for a Chrysler 300c was promised for same-day availability but was then given to another customer. This incident involved a missed call (which the customer claims they never received), inconsistency regarding a "core charge" by different staff members, and a strong feeling of "bad business in general," leading to a vow to "never do business with them again." The customer explicitly stated to "go elsewhere and not fool with this company. Worthless!!!!!!" This review directly challenges the company's claims of customer service, efficiency, and reliability.
  • In stark contrast, another customer provided an entirely positive review: "This place is THE BEST! Amazing customer service, the staff are all extremely knowledgeable, and they went the extra mile for me to get me the parts I needed on time! Thank you!!" This review directly supports the company's stated features of amazing customer service, knowledgeable staff, and timely delivery.
The presence of such diametrically opposed reviews indicates a potential inconsistency in service delivery or possibly different experiences depending on the specific staff members or processes involved. While one customer highlights excellent communication and going "the extra mile," the other details severe communication failures and a lack of accountability, suggesting that while the potential for good service exists, it is not consistently delivered to all customers. This discrepancy is a critical feature for potential customers to consider.

Regarding promotional information, Fox Auto Salvage & Parts Inc. primarily promotes itself through its extensive inventory, longevity in the business, and logistical capabilities. Their website, with its comprehensive part search functionality, serves as a major promotional tool, allowing customers to easily find parts for various makes and models. They actively market their ability to ship parts nationwide on the same day and offer local delivery, highlighting their efficiency and reach. The phrase "WHEN WE SAY WE'VE GOT IT, WE'VE REALLY GOT IT!" is a direct promotional slogan emphasizing the breadth of their inventory. While specific short-term sales or discount coupons are not explicitly detailed in the provided information, businesses like Fox Auto Salvage often rely on competitive pricing due to the nature of salvaged parts. They may also run seasonal promotions or special deals on certain types of parts. Customers are encouraged to visit their website or call their sales department directly to inquire about specific part availability, pricing, and any current offers or warranties that might apply to their purchase. The conflicting reviews suggest that customers should exercise due diligence when considering any promotional claims and verify product condition and return policies explicitly before making a purchase.

Fox Auto Salvage & Parts Inc. Customer Reviews

Worst place to get parts! Called about a rear end for a Chrysler 300c and said they would try and have it out the same day. And got the rear end out and gave it to another customer cause they supposedly called one time and I never got the call. I will never do business with them again. Never in a million years. And first guy told me there would be a core charge and I called back to ask for the price and another guy said there wasn’t. Just bad business in general. Highly recommend anyone that needs car parts to go elsewhere and not fool with this company. Worthless!!!!!!

This place went above and beyond to get parts for my ole Chevy. Nice people and very clean facility. Not your average junkyard, drove 3hrs to get here and would do it again in a heartbeat. What a place! The 4.5 whatever review Avg is an understatement. This is every bit of 5 stars.

They do have parts that other places don't...BUT....it is an unsafe, unclean environment to work at. Workers are very low paid with no health benefits. The water turns orange/brown after filling a glass. They are very intimindating to their staff. OSHA needs to make a visit there.
