Florence Auto Parts Introduce
Florence Auto Parts, located at 7118 Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90003, USA, operates as an Auto Repair Station that also functions as an auto parts store, providing both goods and services for sale. This dual role means the establishment aims to serve the local community by supplying automotive components and potentially offering repair or installation services. While the intent is to address various automotive needs for vehicle owners in Los Angeles, publicly available customer reviews paint a complex picture of the business's operations and customer interactions.
The environment of Florence Auto Parts, being situated on Main Street in Los Angeles, suggests a typical urban commercial setting. Such locations usually prioritize accessibility for customers, with potential parking options and a storefront for retail sales of auto parts. The interior of an auto parts store typically features shelves stocked with various car components, ranging from common maintenance items like oil filters and brake pads to more specialized parts. If repair services are offered, there would likely be a garage or service bay area equipped for vehicle work, potentially with lifts and diagnostic tools. The ambiance of such a place can greatly influence customer perception, and a well-organized, clean, and professional environment generally contributes to a positive experience. However, based on customer feedback, the actual operational environment, particularly concerning transparency and customer interaction, appears to be a point of significant contention. While the physical space might be set up for commercial and repair activities, the customer experience within that environment seems to be a notable area of concern.
As an Auto Repair Station and auto parts store, Florence Auto Parts would typically offer a range of services and goods. Based on the customer reviews, their services appear to include the provision of automotive parts and potentially repair or modification work. One customer explicitly mentions "ordered a new part" and then an issue where the shop "welded the part without telling me," implying they offer welding or repair services on components. The complaint about not being able to "use the part they welded because it won’t work" suggests that they engage in component repair and not just sales. Common services for an auto parts store that also does repairs could include:
- Parts Sales: Providing a variety of automotive components for different makes and models, potentially including new, used, or refurbished parts.
- Part Installation: Installing parts purchased from their store or brought in by customers.
- Basic Repairs: Services like battery replacement, wiper blade installation, or light bulb replacement.
- Specialized Component Repair: As suggested by the welding incident, they might offer repairs on specific components rather than full replacement.
- Advice and Consultation: Offering guidance on parts compatibility and repair procedures.
The goods for sale would primarily consist of auto parts, including engine components, electrical parts, brake system parts, filters, fluids, and various accessories necessary for vehicle maintenance and repair. The customer's experience with an Acura dealership selling a "same part new for the same price" as the one Florence Auto Parts reportedly welded suggests that the store's pricing for parts, even after unauthorized repairs, may not be competitive or transparent.
The features of Florence Auto Parts, as derived from real customer reviews, present significant concerns, particularly regarding customer service, honesty, and business practices. A recurring theme across multiple comments is "rudeness," "clicking on you," and a lack of transparency.
- Lack of Honesty and Transparency: A major feature highlighted is the alleged practice of performing work without explicit customer consent or communication. The customer's account of ordering a new part but receiving a welded one without notification, followed by refusal to return money for the undesired service, points to a severe breach of trust and potentially dishonest practices. The claim of being "scamming people for a quick buck" suggests a pattern of behavior rather than an isolated incident.
- Poor Customer Service: Reviews repeatedly mention "Horrible customer service" and staff being "rude." The act of clicking on customers or refusing to take responsibility for unauthorized work indicates a disregard for customer satisfaction and professional conduct.
- Questionable Return Policy Practices: One review explicitly states, "Do not honor their return policy." This is a critical concern for any retail or service business, as a clear and honored return policy is fundamental to consumer trust and rights.
- Pricing Issues: The comparison to an Acura dealership selling a new part for the same price as Florence Auto Parts' allegedly fraudulent welded part indicates that their pricing may not be competitive or fair, especially when combined with a lack of transparency about service.
These features, as described by customers, paint a picture of a business with significant operational challenges related to integrity and customer relations. The strong recommendation to "DO NOT DO NOT COME HEAR" and to "report this place to the department of bureau automotive repair BAR" suggests that these issues are not isolated complaints but may indicate systemic problems within the business's practices.
Regarding promotional information, specific current promotions for Florence Auto Parts are not publicly detailed. However, the provided customer reviews themselves serve as critical information that prospective customers should consider before engaging with this establishment. While most businesses aim to promote positive features, the available information from customers acts as a deterrent. Typically, auto parts stores and repair shops promote through:
- Competitive Pricing: Highlighting cost savings on parts or services.
- Service Guarantees: Offering warranties on parts or labor to build trust.
- Customer Service: Emphasizing friendly staff and helpful advice.
- Product Variety: Promoting a wide range of available parts for different vehicles.
However, based on the customer reviews, any promotional claims by Florence Auto Parts regarding honesty, customer service, or return policies would need to be critically evaluated against the reported experiences. For local users in Los Angeles, CA, who are considering Florence Auto Parts for their automotive needs, it is highly recommended to proceed with extreme caution. Given the severity of the complaints regarding fraudulent practices, unauthorized work, dishonesty, and poor customer service, it would be prudent to obtain multiple quotes from other reputable establishments, thoroughly clarify all repair procedures and costs in writing before any work begins, and understand their return policy in detail. Direct communication with them at (323) 789-9999 or +1 323-789-9999 can be attempted, but prospective customers should be prepared for potential challenges based on the negative feedback provided.
In conclusion, Florence Auto Parts, located at 7118 Main St, Los Angeles, CA 90003, functions as an Auto Repair Station and auto parts store. While it offers automotive parts and repair services, existing customer reviews strongly highlight significant issues regarding business honesty, transparency, customer service, and adherence to return policies. Features described by customers include unauthorized work being performed, rude staff interactions, and alleged fraudulent practices, leading to recommendations against patronizing the establishment. Due to these serious concerns, prospective customers are strongly advised to seek services from other, more reputable auto repair and parts providers in the Los Angeles area and to exercise extreme caution if considering engaging with Florence Auto Parts.

DO NOT DO NOT COME HEAR. All the previous comments of their rudeness clicking on you doing something without telling you charging you like if it were to be a new part all these bad experiences are true this place should be reported to the department of bureau automotive repair BAR if you have ur receipts file a complaint. They should be held accountable for not being honest with their work or word I had ordered a new part confirmed that the ordered was placed and cost and all to find out all they did was weld the part without telling me then they had the nerve to say oh if we ordered a new part it will cost more and take a long time to get hear making that decision without consulting me I called and ask why that wasn’t clarified a worker said don’t worry bring the part will return the money and when I go they said no they refuse and said the job was done a job I did not request and they do not take responsibility . The business they conduct is fraudulent scamming people for a quick buck idk if they pay for a good review but listen they will scan you and u will wish u read reviews and listen to them before coming hear I don’t it unfair because am still unable to use the part they welded because it won’t work I went to Acura dealer ship and they sold me the same part new for the same price how can. They scam how would they feel of their loved ones are being scammed idk how people conduct business like this
