Flagstaff Chevrolet Service and Parts Customer Reviews

Dropped my car off for an oil change, like i always do. It took 3 days for it to be ready. After calling for those days the final person i talked to said it has been ready for a while. No call or text from either phone numbers we put down for them to reach us and we were promised to be notified once ready. Every single time we are here for every oil change or tire rotation, it takes days. We needed our bumper fixed last year and it took 6 whole days without a car for us. Please do not come here, the service is awful.

Worst service dept. I ever had to deal with, I had my truck towed in from an item that was hit in the freeway and had to get a new rear axel and skid plate this installed this was 11/18/23 I live in Vail, Az so had to find a ride home. Took a month for them to get the parts and called me saying it was done, 4 hour bus ride there I pick it up and they didn't install the skid plate (it was never ordered). After multiple calls to there So called service dept. Now 2/11/24 they said (we dropped the ball we're shipping it out to you now. Fingers crossed again. On 4/1/24 I called Flagstaff Chevrolet service again for an update they said it was returned unable to ship to my home. They never told me this. 5/7/24 Update finally got my skid plate had to have it shipped to the Chevrolet dealer in Tucson to get it.

Not sure why a simple oil change takes 2 hours but for the 3rd time in a row it did. Car was brought in at 745 for an 800 appointment for only an oil change. Was told it would be ready in 45 minutes. Finally at 930 the car wash technician saw me and said my car was washed and had been ready for 45 minutes. When I asked the service advisor why I had not been notified since I was waiting in the showroom, he said he didn't know why I hadn't been called. Also $95 for an oil change?? Get real. This is the last dealer oil change I will do here. Dealership has dropped their on-line SAVE10 10 % discount on parts and labor. They give a 1st responder discount, but nothing for military or veteran. Service Advisor said there were no discounts available not even for 30+ year loyal customers. Quality in service department has declined tremendously. In addition, dealership has shuttered its body shop forcing customers to go elsewhere for any body work. In addition, in the past, this dealership did a multi-point inspection of the vehicle when in for an oil change and they provided you with a detailed printed summary with your invoice. Not the case anymore. Not sure if they still do the inspection, but if they did there was no record. Also, fluids were not topped off as part of the oil change. Windshield washer fluid was down 1/2 capacity.

I dropped off my vehicle (2019 Chevy Equinox) to get an oil change and multi point inspection (both were due according ot the Chevy app when i made the appointment). I drop the vehicle off at 11am and tell them I have to go back to work and for them to call me when my vehicle is ready. I don't hear anything from them until I call them around 2:30pm (so 3.5 hours later) and they tell me "oh, your car's been ready for a while, I called you a couple times in the waiting room but you never came back" even after I told them I wasn''t staying in the waiting room. I get the print out of the multi-point inspection (seen below) and it says both of my turn signals are fully functional. This is bogus, my right turn signal has been doing the super fast clicking sound when there's usually a short in it. But they have it checked off below as fully functioning. What's the point of getting a multi-point inspection, if you're not actually going to inspect it? IDK what it is, but the service dept at this dealership has been really slipping the past few years. Seriously going to start looking at alternatives for the future.

I had an appointment at 11:00am for the first (6,000 mile) service. Complimentary with all new Chevrolet vehicles (most competitors offer all services for the first 25,000 miles, but Chevy? Losers). I arrived on time and they said it would take an hour, maybe an hour and a half. At 90 minutes I went back to service to check on the progress and (drum roll please)….They hadn’t even started. 90 minutes of wasting my time. I asked to speak to the service manager, and I explained that I had an appointment, arrived in time and that they had wasted 90 minutes of my time. He offered an apology, but nothing else. How about a complementary future service for my time? Nope. I had them retrieve my vehicle and I left. Do NOT waste your time with Flagstaff Chevrolet service department. They WILL WASTE your time. And they won’t bat an eye while they do it. AS&%&@“‘S.
