As an "Auto Repair Station" affiliated with prominent brands like Firestone and Bridgestone, this location is expected to offer a variety of services typical of a full-service auto center. These services generally include, but are not limited to, tire sales and installation (featuring Firestone and Bridgestone tires), tire repair, wheel alignment, oil changes, brake inspections and repairs, battery checks and replacements, air conditioning services, and general diagnostics for various vehicle issues. The presence of the Firestone and Bridgestone names implies access to a wide range of tire options, from all-season to performance and winter tires, catering to different vehicle types and driving conditions. They often promote their ability to provide the "right tire for your vehicle" and assist customers in choosing based on performance, grip, handling, or fuel efficiency needs.

The environment of an auto repair station like Firestone/Bridgestone Weber Swift Car Care Inc is typically designed for both service efficiency and customer comfort. While specific details about this particular location's waiting area amenities (such as complimentary drinks or Wi-Fi) are not consistently highlighted across all online sources for this specific address, similar Firestone Complete Auto Care centers often provide these to enhance the customer experience. The layout would likely include a service bay area where mechanics perform repairs and maintenance, and a customer reception area where individuals can discuss their vehicle's needs, wait for services, or browse tire options. The overall impression would be that of a functional and organized space dedicated to vehicle care.

The core features of Firestone/Bridgestone Weber Swift Car Care Inc, as implied by its branding and general industry standards, revolve around comprehensive auto care. They leverage the reputation of Firestone and Bridgestone for quality tires, offering a diverse inventory to meet various consumer demands. Beyond tire-centric services, they aim to be a go-to for routine maintenance, emphasizing the importance of regular oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks for vehicle longevity and safety. Their diagnostic capabilities are a crucial feature, allowing them to identify issues ranging from simple coolant leaks to more complex engine problems. The ideal feature of any reputable auto repair station is the presence of certified technicians capable of accurately diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive systems. They aim to provide a blend of retail (tires and some parts) and service (repairs and maintenance).

However, an objective introduction also requires acknowledging all available information, including customer feedback that may present a different perspective. Several customer reviews for Firestone/Bridgestone Weber Swift Car Care Inc raise significant concerns regarding aspects of their service. One customer reported being charged for a diagnostic check for a coolant leak ($470) but the shop was unable to perform the necessary repairs at their location, leading to a perception of being "swindled." Another review details a series of negative experiences, including allegations of being "lied to" about accepting certain warranty programs (specifically CarMax-MaxCare through RepairPal), holding a car for a week without completing the repair due to warranty issues, refusing to address a reported coolant leak while attempting to "sell on repairing an oil leak," failing to fix a "knocking sound," and performing a wheel alignment three times without correcting a crooked steering wheel. This customer also expressed dissatisfaction with the shop's perceived refusal to take responsibility for "poor customer service, misinformation, wasting my time and money," and being charged for a tie rod repair that reportedly made the car sound worse. These reviews suggest potential inconsistencies in service delivery, communication, and repair quality at this specific location, impacting customer trust and satisfaction. It's important for potential customers to be aware of such feedback when considering services.

Regarding promotional information, Firestone and Bridgestone often run national promotions on their tires, such as rebates, discounts on sets of tires, or special financing options. These promotions would typically be available at affiliated service centers like Weber Swift Car Care Inc. Additionally, they may offer localized deals on specific services like oil changes, brake inspections, or alignment packages to attract customers. Online scheduling for appointments is a common feature among modern auto service centers, providing convenience for booking maintenance or repairs. However, given the noted customer feedback, any promotional claims should be evaluated in conjunction with the reported service experiences.

In summary, Firestone/Bridgestone Weber Swift Car Care Inc in Crest Hill, IL, functions as an "Auto Repair Station" offering a range of services from tire sales and installation to general auto maintenance and diagnostics. While aiming to provide comprehensive car care backed by the reputable Firestone and Bridgestone brands, it is crucial for local users to consider the varying customer experiences reported online. These reviews highlight potential areas of concern regarding diagnostic practices, repair capabilities, communication, and overall customer service. Prospective clients are advised to conduct their own due diligence, perhaps by contacting the store directly to clarify services, pricing, and warranty acceptance, and to consider the spectrum of customer feedback available when making their decision for automotive needs.

Firestone/Bridgestone Weber Swift Car Care inc Customer Reviews

I brought my car in. They did a diagnostics check. They determined that it was a coolant leak from the water pump. They charged me $470 and could not perform the repairs at their location. I spent $470 for for them to tell me that I had a coolant leak from the water pump.

Swindlers!! Lied to me about taking CarMax-MaxCare from Repair Pal. Had my car for a week before they told me they don't actually take Repair Pal while I was renting a vehicle. Refused to listen to me about a coolant leak. Tried to sell me on repairing an oil leak. Didn't fix the knocking sound. Did the alignment 3x and steering wheel is still crooked. Refuses to take any responsibility for poor customer service, misinformation, wasting my time and money. Charged me for a tie rod Repair and my car bow sounds worse now than it did before.

Give it a zero if I could. Came here to get some work done on my car, needed some parts installed. After the work was done my car came out that running like crap. Noises that were never coming from my vehicle before I gave it to them. I came back a second time hoping for a solution . The boss tells me after inspecting it again that the part they must've put could've been a defect and that it happens so they replaced it with a new one no charge. Hoping that this would solve my issue it did not. This time the noise was still there but now another noise occurred. He told me that there was nothing else he could do becuase he didn't know where the sound was coming from and basically I had to wait till something breaks in order to find out what it was. I decided to take it to another shop to get it inspected and it turns out the parts they installed were not installed properly and the parts were WRONG PARTS FOR MY CAR . THEY we're loose. On top of that, the noise I kept hearing after I left the shop the first time turned out to be a loose bolt that they left untightened. Never will I bring my vehicle here again it has been a stressful and total nightmare . And the fact that I'm still paying off the work that they did to my car pisses me off

Be careful taking your car here... Visited back in June 2020 for an Alignment. Next day ABS light and Traction Control light comes on and I bring it back. Mechanic looks at it, swaps my front tires to the other sides and tells me its my wheel speed sensor. (He wasn't kidding, It sure was!) He then told me the wheel speed sensor is integrated into the wheel hub assembly (it is not, and was easy to swap out) and i have to buy a wheel hub assembly. Quotes me $400-500 for a lifetime warranty part. I tell them no and leave. Finally got around to doing the job myself to save money, and I ended up returning the wheel hub assembly I bought based on their advice. After I took the wheel off and found my wheel speed sensor severed cleanly right above the rotor it was clear i did not need a wheel hub assembly.(see attached photos) It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see this clear as day, the cut looks intentional. It is a very clean cut. And the mechanic would have easily seen this cut with the wheel off while he was inspecting it and swapping the wheels. I mean thats the first thing I saw and I am just a DYI homeowner. I hate to write a bad review but this is scary. I will never be back to this shop. They have lost my business permanently. And I would advise you to think twice before you bring your car here. I have no idea how they have such high reviews. The only thing i can think of is they are just taking advantage of people who dont know any better. It's too bad because the service was good and they were friendly, but this is not the way to do business... Definitely not an honest mechanic shop. Beware!!!

We stopped by to show the young man that was helping us. I just paid for 2 tires and I needed them to honor that price. That is all. Some other male person That I spoke to was giving me another figure. That young man said don't worry. He remembered us and he will make sure they take care of us like they did the first time. It will be alright now. I support businesses that work with customers and I try and help send customers their way. Thank you young man.
