But Rafael’s expert inspection revealed I only needed a new tire and an arm replacement – saving me time and money. Brought my Mercedes here and had a great experience. Rafael took time to carefully inspect my vehicle and fixed all the issues I had in timely manner. He was very honest and only recommended fixes that were absolutely essential but pointed out other minor issues that should be checked on eventually. I would highly recommend this shop!

This is a great shop for BMW's and Mercedes. I am a new owner of a 2011 328i. The seller recommended ESR so I took my car there for an oil change. Rafael is great. He is meticulous about the work he does. He has great attention for details and was willing to answer all the questions I had about my car. Really friendly guy who loves cars. His shop is clean and he wipes everything off your car while he works. Treats your car like it's artwork. The first thing he did was drive my car around to make sure everything was running as it should. While doing the oil change, he inspected various parts of my car and shared with me his observations. He pointed out the leak in the value gasket (which I already knew about and many BMW's this old start to do), but also explained that I did not have to repair it now. Something we will continue to monitor over time. I find Rafael to be friendly, honest and knowledgeable. I will be taking my BMW there from now on.

I'm an engineer and BMW enthusiast. I came from Seattle to purchase a 2011 BMW 528i in the Bay Area. Because of my travel schedule, I had to find a competent shop that would inspect the car on a Saturday, with very little advanced notice. One of the local dealers was willing to do it, but it was going to be very expensive, and they would have had to keep the car for about 5 hours, which was too long for me and the seller. I found Rafael's shop through Yelp. Rafael sacrificed his Saturday morning to come to the shop and meet me and the seller, and was willing to do the inspection at a very reasonable price. We had to pre-pay for the inspection since he was going to meet us on a Saturday. He performed a very detailed inspection (note that for pre-purchase inspections, the seller has to be with him the entire time). The seller and I waited in the shop working on our laptops, and answered questions that Rafael had during the inspection. I think that being there all the time was beneficial to the three of us. As part of the inspection process, he pulled all the error codes from the car's computer, which was important to me. He pointed out all the issues that he saw, and gave me a printed report. I found Rafael to be "above-average" in terms of attention to detail. I feel lucky to have found Rafael on such short notice. He clearly knows his stuff and is a really nice guy. I would recommend him to anyone looking to have a BMW serviced in the Bay Area.

I’m so happy so found ESR! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I just recently moved to the area with my bmw and Rafael has helped me twice in the last month! He deserves a raving review! I had wheel locks on my car but unfortunately the key to remove the locks had been stripped. Rafael got the dealership to remove three of the wheel locks (dealer themselves would have charged near $200 per wheel). He then ordered a part to remove the last stubborn wheel lock. He put several hours into finding a solution for removing the wheel locks, and he didn’t even charge me for the part. He charged me very conservatively for all his hard work. He did replace my break pads (my reason for going in) and he did a great job. He was very honest, recommended that break pads were the only necessary replacement and the rotors were still good. 👌 Then, just this last weekend I heard a strange noise coming from my car, panicked, called Rafael and he answered immediately offering to take a look. It was a Sunday! He made a special trip to his shop for me since he recently worked on the car and he was concerned. Come to find out I had a nail in my tire which was causing a very slow leak but made an awful noise when driving. Rafael patched the hole with no problem. I’ve been very appreciative of his business. He’s a hard worker and cares about his service. A lot of my time and money has been saved. Thanks Rafael! I’ll be back 👍🙌
