By far the worst customer service I've ever had at a business. My car was picked up on the 7th of March for a timing belt through a grant that I got help me get my car fixed after getting out of a 10-year domestic violence relationship with my children. I'm trying to get back on my feet and impossible to do that without a car in his town. I got the estimate from him and paid $1,590 ahead of time. Attack and then waited for it to clear and then finally picked up my car two days later. But I guess since there's a hybrid battery in it and I didn't state that in the beginning that means it takes a month and a half. I called 2.5 weeks ago and he said two more weeks, I called on Monday is past Monday and he proceeds to tell me two more weeks because I didn't tell them there was a harbor battery in there. Tells me I can come pick it up if I want to even though it's took apart and they've already cashed the check to get paid. Here I wait another 2 weeks for my car. I just really hope I can get it back. I don't understand why they have been so rude I'm just a single mom trying to get back on my feet.

The Austin's are good people, fair fast and convenient. Had my ATV ties replaced, it was done fast and didn't add on any extra charges. Talked with a lady that was waiting on her car and said she only takes her car here! BTW Mrs Austin would be a great local food guide.

We were camping about 40 minutes away when our breaks went out towing our camper on a Saturday. We had it towed to East Yancey Auto and had Charles take a look on Monday morning. The part he needed was hard to find, but he found one in Johnson city TN. He drove out after work to get it and worked hard and fixed it up by Tuesday at 10am! He then drove the truck to us and delivered to my husband at the campground! I begged for him to charge me for the time and gas it took to go out of his way for us, but he wouldn’t! All that to say, Charles went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help us in an extremely tight spot! So grateful to East Yancey Auto!!!!
